Just speaking the truth babe, its nothing in comparison to the lift and new lease of life I’ve been given by you guys. :A :A

Scallywag Di (aka Cheeky Chops) gets loads of cheek from me and she’s so sweet about getting used as a wee human punch bag. All in jest of course, (she’s a wee star really but don’t tell her I said that).:T:T :j:j

Talking about Jim Jams scallywag, I'm worried that you might have left Sir Paul running about outside in his Jim Jams last night did you?:confused:

Don’t forget he’s not got alot of insulation now to keep him warm now whisper “after the Brazilian”

Fingers crossed he’s out celebrating his win at court yesterday…. :j:j:j

Forgot to say, if all is well and everything is set up on time for dad's homecoming next week, the team are doing this on Mental act section 17, going to look more into this, but I understand there is more supervision involved.;)

Hope everyone is well and happy and having a good day.
I'm defrosting my freezer, when it's done there should be twice as much room in there.

It's my 30th wedding anniversary today, hubby keeps saying he would have served 3 life sentences by now if he'd done away with me (he loves me really).
I've actually made a start on my xmas shopping, should have finished it by next month!!!!!

    Karen xx

Hiya Karen, wow thirty years... Enjoy your day and sod the freezer.... get your feet up with a bottle..:T

    Keep warm Gerry.xx

I will do thanks babe, I’ve got a bit of insulation though I’m more like "Forrest Gump" than a brazilian
  • My word... you go out for a couple of hours and everything kicks off on here!!!

Well done/Congratulations & best wishes to everyone who's had good news today ... and best wishes to everyone else too.....

I've been up to London today ... there was a chap in the ward next to me when I was in last time (same thing as me - NHL - he's only 40... 4 yrs older than me) and he was taken back into hospital with a heart attack yesterday:eek: So I thought I'd go and give him a dose of my naughty humour to help him recover / send him on his way (it's the Dr Paul 'kill or cure' approach!!!).

Flip it's cold out there..... no wonder it's called a Brazillian (and not a Reykjavic !!!!) I think I'm going to ask santa for some thermal long johns!!!
:AIgnorance can be cured, but stupid is forever!:A

Hello Di, good to hear that your Dad is being supported well, I am sure you have looked this up by now, but in case you have been too busy here is a link that explains it well http://www.dorsethealthcare.nhs.uk/Portals/3/Policies/CP-049-07.pdf

Does sound as though it will all be in place correctly when he is allowed to leave.
Also if you ever need any support yourself and a quick answer to any problem then I found this forum such a comfort when things were bad and I didn't know where to turn http://forum.alzheimers.org.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=25

I hope that you get to spend some special time with your Dad next week and it is a means to having him home for good if that is possible, love to you and your family, it's a tough thing to be dealing with. :kisses3:
