I don't normally look at this thread - but as I'm laid up today I thought I'd have a snoop about....

Oh my word :eek: WHAT a bunch of us there are on here with challenges affecting our daily routines.... I hope everyone will allow me – but I feel ‘strangely warmed’ to be in SUCH auspicious company ... and puts my own “dis-ease” into perspective...

.... I'm being sponsored to wear a "silly hat" while I go through chemo.... but I'll hapilly take it off to you guys :-)

:eek:Hello everyone sorry not been on fr a few days but hubby not too well and just about finished my decorating. Thank god. Hubby at hospital on thursday and then got a meeting about work on Friday. I dont know what to think we have just got sorted financially and now this. i am very worried about him and his job. We are not too sure what is going on with him health wise and I really hope we get some answers on thursday. At the moment he cant work cos he is ill and it looks like he wont be able to return to his usual place of work as it is not suitable for him with his ME and such so they are hopeing to transfer him to another unit, but this might not be for ages yet, so again we are financially screwed. Only thing is I have all my debts paid off now so that is one less worry. Anyway sorry I am babbling again:eek:

Thanks for the update Dialysis, hope Thursday brings some answers so they can start treating whatever it is and get your OH on the road to recovery.

Hello Paul, sorry you are laid up today, sounds like life is throwing you a few challenges as well, best wishes to you and hope the chemo isnt too ghastly, I know it affects people differently. xx

I've only had one cycle so far ... so early days .... BUT I'm doing OK thanks.... I'm most definitely NOT going to let some nasty little cells get the better of me:mad:

Hi paulinweston, sorry to hear you are also going through the mill by the sounds of it. If you need to talk or vent then there is always someone around on here to listen. Thoughts x
