Hi Dialysis. So sorry to hear about your hubby I so hope they get to the bottom of things quickly. I know that ME used to be diagnosed by ruling out every other possibility and then giving the ME label. Do not know if that is still the case, it does seem that the label is used quite freely. Sending you lots of love.

Pinknico so sorry about your brother is he older or younger than you? I agree with what you say about trying to give everything to your kids. I think the biggest thing we can give to our children is time. Lots of love to you too.x

quote"Being from a big family and remembering the hard times my mother had, think this is why, I am ,the way I am with my kids, just want them to have a good life. Not talking about loads of money here(though it would be nice):D but just to be comfortable, in good health and debt free, other than mortgage of course!!.(maybe a little bit less than they have now though)"

Couldnt have put it better myself Busbyh, this year all presents will be brought with money we have and not on credit and we have paid off all the other credit we used in previous years.
We are very fortunate and can only do this because of the way the FSCS refunded.
Now we just have Picture and a Mortgage, not ideal but manageable and a great deal better than the position we were in!

Say it time and time again your daughter is a very lucky lady!

That has got to be the best feeling, pinknico. Not that dreaded after Christmas feeling "now we have to try and pay it all back"

I am just so pleased that your are rid of the dreaded credit. It is so easy to get into debt, but so very hard to get out of it.
I've been there myself in the past, just to get through Christmas etc, credit cards, catalogues. I did learn the hard way myself, as we all do!!!!

As you say you only have the two debts now. Although we are rid of Picture, we basically still have the two debts, just rolled into one, and hopefully when the cheque is received will be rid of the credit card and loan and therefore as you say manageable, which is the most important thing, thanks to the FSCS.
Thank goodness this Organsisation was set up, for us.

If we win this, I will be sending one big thank you to our case handler at Deloittes who has been really good and very patient!!!!

I'm sure you are and will be the same with your children, no matter how old they may be, always there for them, that is what it's all about
    xxx

I still refer to this as mine and ours, and my case handler etc. Just makes it easier when I am posting (there are times i think it is mine) except for the cheque, that won't be;)

I must admit two of our neighbours have it and they are doing fine so things have perhaps moved on.

As regards the leukemia too I hope that dialysis's hubby goes on OK. They should really do a marrow if he is showing symptoms of this:confused:. I really can sympathise as its often a slow progressing disease. I know of someone that has been fine with it for so long (chronic type) but just gets ill every now and again and has to take precautions) but she does not let it get her down and you would not know she even had it. Its all about catching things early enough now isn't it.

Its so sad when dialysis was on such a high to be bought back down. Life can be a total !!!!! sometimes.

It is so sad marshalka, hopefully all will turn out well

X Factor tonight folks. Wonder if the terrrible twosome will be kept in this week by Mr Cowell!!.

He obviously wants them to stay in at the moment, keeps the viewing figures up, but I fear it may backfire on him, with the public taking revenge on him keeping them in last week.

They could all vote for them in order to keep his Acts out of the final.

Must say, although they can't sing or dance, I do find myself looking forward to what they will actually get up to each week,

that wouldn't surprise me marshallka, they shouldn't be in it. Wouldn't be surprised if they won. If they did it would serve Simon right. Did you see his face last night, when Jamie lost, couldn't believe poorJamie Afro . Lloyd is lovely but not as strong a singer as the others.

Apart from not being able to sing, they have no co-ordination either:eek: did you see one of them fall when he crashed through the screen:eek::eek:
Louie had no intention of putting Jamie through, that was even before he sang:mad:

Hey, will have to stop this aggression, starting to feel as bad about XFactor as Picture:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Is it today Dialysis's husband goes back to hospital for results, or is this showergirl. Hope everything is ok for both, they just do not deserve this.

Hope the big man up above is looking down on them
