Did start writing that post above earlier and only now posted it, as my phone keeps ringing lol.....:D.

Yes dad looking good, he was so comical today, it was so good to see him laugh, as he has a lot of problems with his back, we have had to tell him that they are trying new stuff with him to get this right, cos recently he have been asking why is he still in hospital......(its been almost 4 weeks bless him)..
I suppose when he does get moved to the local dementia unit up the hospital local to me, it may put him out for a few days but he will soon settle down again.

Just arrived back home now, awe bless dad, he was waiting about by the nurses station waiting for us, they did say just before we arrived there, he went to open the exit doors and he set the alarms off....:o, bless him, he was wondering why some of the nurses were running towards him lol.
And I was actually talking to a nurse that I used to work with years ago, this was when I worked for the NHS "once upon a time" lol, she have been so good to my dad........and normally she works on another ward but as they were short staffed again she will be doing a shift or 2 on this one, keep me happy.....:T:j:j.

Dad was fine though, he stuffed all his pears in juice we taken down for him, that's is fave fruit...or at least one of his faves, then a downed a fruit drink, he was well happy.;)XXX

Yes I think he have come on heaps and bounds to be honest, feel better for seeing him like this.:T:T
He shaved himself again with his battery shaver and done a grand job, so chuffed.....:T.

Yes it looks that way so far so good. :T
I feel more at ease today, I will not see him until Tuesday now as other family members are visiting him tomorrow.;)XXX

Fingers crossed the treatment for his back will sort him out too. Good news that he will be moving closer to you, hopefully that will mean you can get to pop in and see him more often and a little easier on the travelling too.

Its not been a bad day for me. Tidying etc and sorting clothes out, I have a netball tournament in Wales at the week. Cardiff to be precise.

I have a few more things to do so I will be popping of again soon.

Glad you liked the ball, hope it made you smile.:D

Thats great that he will be close enough for you to walk but of course only on a dry day, it wouldn't do to get wet
