Wow showergirl, you have shocked me with age and smoking:eek:. I am not proud of mine and our hossie is one that will not treat smokers either.

I know of people that have joined the national no smoking thing on the NHS and as soon as they have stopped with the patches they start again but worse. I tried patches but smoked on them some time ago so I decided to cut back and it worked and although there have been some terrible stressful times not ONCE have I turned to a ciggie like that. I know my smoking times and I stick to them and never go over my 10 limit.

I tried those patches about 2 years ago and was the same Marshallka, they do not work I don't think.
And your right, there are loads who have turned to the National non smoking thingie and again it does not always work.

I personally think it's a personal thing myself.
Like now I'm soooooo tempted, but will do my best not to go back, yet......this have happened with me before and I went back to it again :o.

Your doing good though not to go over your limit.....:T the thing with me when I did smoke I always given myself a limit but it did not always work...so well done on that anyway, you know how far to go and when to stop.;)

I congratulate myself:T. I honestly have had times I could have killed for one but I have to tell myself that that is when it is not for pleasure and its not going to help so I wait, calm down, do something and then have one at my usual time. It works for me. I wake up and don't reach for one now like I used to some time ago and I do jobs first and then relax with a cuppa and have one.

I even went a school reunion with my sis some weeks ago and everyone smoked and they all sat there smoking away outside the pub and it really did not bother me. I just had my usual ones. I get up in the night now sometimes and I don't reach for one. I could not pack up though Di as I don't want to really and I think I would stress too much so I am doing it my way.

That is brilliant Marshallka, well done to you :T:T:beer:.

With me if I went back to it, I would be smoking more and would not know when to stop :o, but must give you credit for the way your dealing with this, and I think it's good too - to get on with jobs rather than light up first thing, that was the hardest part for me.
So well done.:T:T

Thank you Showergirl.:A;)

I built my hopes up that was the problem, I do feel guilty and let down but them, but I am thinking of now doing of what Marshallka has done, and believe the more we can get to do this the better.;)

Marshallka, are you able to post the contact address of whom you sent your letter to within the FSA, or is it in email?
Thanks X
I sent it to this email addy complaints@fsa.gov.uk;

This may not get a reply but can only hope. There was no real addy for just general complaints. I have signed it in my name too and I have noted that I have NOT got a complaint personally against A and L. I just thought their giving a rebate of the fine was a joke.

I found an e-mail address for David Cameron

Do you think it is worth getting in touch with him
Maybe just send them the link to this forum about PPI. He can then see what people go through.
