UK Stockmarket 2009 and beyond

UK is running a bigger experiment in QE then any other country is one thing I heard mentioned on the news today, not especially comforting
Just noticed there is a free trading seminar on in a bit, might be worth watching instead of the news if interested.
It should be fairly easy for anyone to sign up and listen

Also spotted discussion of special inverse or leveraged etf here:

Added to my watchlist a symbol for CRB index to try and keep upto date on the general commoditys picture (though it generally runs in line with stocks it wont always do this imo)

It only charts 5 days unfortunately, but stockcharts has longer chart here:

I SOLD WKP on Monday +40%(had a rapid rise)
Im also holding UU,think its weakness is possibility of a RI
If water continues to suffer then PNN will be attractive0 -
AMUR MINERALS?
Thats about one of the craziest graphs Ive seen and showing 36 times their usual volume also. I guess they've literally hit gold there or somethingThats not a gap up either, I wonder if a buy & sell order would have worked in that half hour 100% rise
Theres a 4% rise on shanghai today that stops it entering a 20% loss bear market, not sure if thats temporary or not but probably going to trim a couple things in their honour anyhow
well done on your good judgement Steve & Tony, I would not have a clue how to pick between those type of stocksalaidiForex markets are not buying the optimism in equities as risk currencies fail to hold on to gains. And equities tend to follow suit33 minutes ago from TweetDeck0 -
Looked at AMC,these are HIGH risk punts
As I suggested earlier try to keep your stakes down on these
Not only can you lose LESS but you make MORE
This is because you can top up if they fall 50%(as this seems to have done)
Or because you are less exposed you can sleep easy and ride out the storms until it achieves the 1000% or so you originally hoped for0 -
high risk is an understatement i was new and learning back then (still am) but i have settled down due to this and another which made me think oh god money down the toilet!!
but you have to learn your own way in life
as i say i am thankful it turned out ok in the endOh well we only live once ;-)0 -
Are you still in FDL??(Steve)
Big Boys doing their best to keep rally going despite all bad news
