HL only does 5 years, not sure about elsewhere. I can post the charts for 10 year index data, the funds themselves wont track/perform quite as well but almost I guess

Was just looking at Cairn today who fell back on disappointment in Greenland, I dont think they have released their Indian assets to VED yet.

The chart shows the failure of the rapid ascent since February but they are near levels of support now

Worth another look I think though Im unsure on their greenland prospects, it obviously matters alot to some
They have results soonCairn's exploration campaign was the first drilling in a decade in Greenland, which energy consultancy Wood Mackenzie has said could have reserves of 20 billion barrels.
Oil majors including Exxon Mobil Corp, Chevron Corp and Husky Energy Inc are queuing up to drill in the Arctic territory but, invigorated by the BP oil spill, environmentalists have vowed to frustrate them.
Cairn said costs of $185 million from the two plugged and abandoned wells are likely to be written off.
Do they have rights to explore all of Greenland, thats a big place 18th largest I think. RRL has oil rights for all of puntland on the horn of africa

Decided not to sell off any shell just before their ex-div just now. Dollar is rising a bit more today but still in range and the oil price stays high but in a downtrend I estimate
The chart for GOG was right, strong rise today continues to double recent gains. News on thurs and ex div next wed with shell

Its traded at around 4100 this morning
With the current dividend rates I see the market progressing well over the next year as more people buy shares to get income that they can't achieve in bank accounts.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
Just like to mention MXP.
Having enjoyed and then suffered with MXP over the last few years it looks like it may have something to prove.
Latest hole has intercepted oil 300m in to a 900m TD and this has caused the SP to double from 11p to 22p over the last week. We are all now waiting for the RNS to confirm TD and wirelogging to hopefully provide oil estimates. Possible P50 of 50mmboe I believe.
Could go back to 11p or up to 30p-35p range.
They also have another 4 holes to drill in this campaign before they work out how to fund their deep prospects.
Oh, come on MXP - 'Show me the money'Personal Responsibility - Sad but True

I`ve been revamping the sipp over the past couple of months and have finished with a cash balance of £1.46. I think the holding is about 2/3 fixed interest ie pibs pref shares and long dated index linked gilts and the rest is also pretty defensive, apart from one miner. All the shares are ftse 100 biggies. I think we are in an uptrend but a rocky one at that so I`m ready for the rocking rolling. Interest rates are so ridiculous0
