Unfortunately I'm out most of the day, looks like it'll be another interesting day.
Hope for the best.....Plan for the worst!

Talk of ALL trades being voided in last nights madness
If you had lost 100k and then given it back would you carry on trading, or say enough?
Likewise how would you feel if you had WON 100k and for it to be scratched?

Rumours of a possible bid for FRES helped keep FRES up and around the £8.

    Possible bid offer of £12.

The UK market is looking much calmer than a lot of us assumed it would be at times during yesterday evening.

[SIZE=+1]I suppose this was a potential banana skin.

The same cannot be said for the FX markets.
In case you hadn't already worked it out - the entire global financial system is predicated on the assumption that you're an idiot:cool:

Im buying some BNC, HOC and also POG is due for a rise similar to Fres. Strange that the miners price goes down with the gold price rising but that shows general deleveraging occurring I think. Thats where the small guy has an advantage I reckon

The BNC shares paid out 15p a share, it depends on the exchange rate but todays price is 695 so thats a 2.1% return or 8.6% yield yearly

I just realised the dividend pays out in dollars ? That'd explain why it appears to be quite generous right now rather then reflecting weakest euro for a while

Im not that great a trader really so holding is pretty much what happens mostly! I do try and trade a few things with mixed success. I do regret selling at all sometimes like AGK!

I think they all worth buying on a 10 yr time scale so I do hope they go up in price sometime this year but in the end I think the underlying worth is still good.

My general thoughts on the market is its best not to hold cash too much, I think the companies are mostly fine compared to over leveraged countries and governments
