Investment account holdings:
Gulf Keystone - Holding at £1 until election results finalised and oil laws ratified and/ or takeover by big fish.
Booker - Holding at 46p until results but may sell then. Sold half my holding when it fell to 43p.
Aminex - Holding since 9p. Top sliced some profit at 16p. Took a loss on half my Booker holding and bought more on the recent dip to 12.75p. Looks like a good move!

I am impressed he has 50% cash, I get the impression that most funds feel they must be fully invested even when the market is obviously tanking.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. Is it???
Obvously not now but in 2008 a great many fund managers just watched the market fall fully invested. The point about that financial fund is the manager being able to take a view on whether to be invested or not, looking at his record he seems to get it right more often than not.'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. WTN been going great guns recently, due to some recently positive broker updates and the inclusion in the S&P/TSX Composite Index.
Not sure if I'm tempting fate but...... all I need is another 23p and I will have my first ever '10bagger' (as they say). If this happens I will literally be.... :rotfl:Personal Responsibility - Sad but True

Would you have believed that Barclays could be a 7 bagger well on the way to 10'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. True. Likewise KAZ - hit as low as 170p in December 08. Currently 1523p and I think has the potential to exceed the 10 bagger mark. Oh to have perfect market timing0
