free 0844 calls

Hi peeps,

I wanted to make cheap international calls using Telestunt. They've give me a 0844 566 number (5p/pm).

Does anyone know if by going through 1899, OneTel, 18866 etc etc to connect to Telestunt it would be charged at 1p??? (I'm assuming 0844 is national rate as they're charging 5p/pm).

Also would 1899, OneTel, 18866 charge me and also Telestunt??

I'm calling pakistan-mobile and this site suggested that Telestunt was the cheapest.

I wondered if calling through one of the CPS companies to Telestunt would be free. is this poss?

cheapest has to be [from a mobile using incl x-network minutes during peak-time 7am - 6pm.. ] simply-fone on 07744 974 333 cos its a free call & u cant get cheaper than free!

unfortunately, I don't have x-net minutes as I'm on the old 121 freetime tarriff which gives you 30000 free minutes of local and national calls a month (that's 30K - mon-fri and w/ends).

so how can i use these??? i know some of these companies provide a 020 number like OneTel to access their system but would ondialling to Telestunt be charged twice (ie Onetel and Telestunt or 18866 and Telestunt etc etc - not sure if you understand???

0844 is "operator rated" hence telstunt do france for 1p on a 0844 number and other charges for other countries on another 0844 number

You could use your freetime minutes to dial the 0207 London number via 18866.com or 1899.com.

You would not incur two sets of charges by doing this. You would be charged for the onward portion of the call by 18866 or 1899.

Therefore calls made via 18866's London 0207 number to Pakistan would be charged to you at 14p per minute. Via 18899's London number the same call would cost you 12p per minute.

Thank you Steve vour help. Just a bit confused (I'm a newbie here) but how much would 18866 charge me for calling the 0844 566 number?? I assume Telestunt would bill 18866 so no charges there.

p.s, add on note: I understand the 14p a minute if I used 18866 to cal Pakistan however, my original post was about, if I used 18866 to call Telestunt on their 0844 566 number at 5p/pm, how much it would cost me.
