Thats excellent news about the cigs. No point worrying about the weather nothing we can do about it.

Also, I've updated my signature 'cos a CC payment went through today. I was trying to wait until the end of the month to update but I'm much more motivated to see my total go down as soon as anything is paid towards it. So I'll just update as I go.
Off to Tesco in 2 hours...yippee! It's a big day out for snow-bound people!

My fantastic 4x4- driving friend saved my life today and I got enough shopping in to last 2 weeks. I don't know what we would have done without her...starved? We were already in 'store cupbooard challenge' mode but running very low on essentials. All sorted now though. :j
I'm still worrying about work but need to stop it. I just can't go. It's ok. My clients won't run off to somone else who drives better in snow!
£15 back in BB account. I guess it didn't withdraw after all.
I'm dying to spend my christmas money but need to wait until the weather is better and I can shop properly. How frustrating. I'm going to buy some clothes I think, should make the £100 clothes challenge easier.Debt @ Dec 2009 £10,026.05

I'm still snowed in today. Cancelled all of my work and my clients were very understanding so that's ok. I can't believe how much this snow is going to cost me...I'm too skint to be off work!
To make it worse, my quit smoking attempt has resulted in me gaining 3lbs in weight. I'm gutted. I'm usually near the top end of a healthy weight for my height but if I put on any more I'll be tipped right into the overweight category. Having been overweight before, and managing to lose it, I really don't want to go through that again. But I guess with it being new year, everyone's on a diet so I may as well join in. I need those 3lbs gone. And smoking again is not an option.
So, I have a quiet day planned and might get some paperwork done and my business accounts up to date.Debt @ Dec 2009 £10,026.05

Well, my new budget has failed already. We've overspent £40 on electricity due to being stuck at home with electric heaters on. Also, totalled up food shopping and am £25 over budget for the month already (and it's only the 6th!!!! ), plus had to buy cat litter which was not budgetted for and cost £8 (should last a long time though).
I just can't do this. I'm so beyond hopeless at budgetting it's untrue. I'm having to use money earned from bingo britain and matched betting to pay the bills.
I guess it's better than using the CCs.
Is that progress?
I'll keep battling on for this month and am determined to make a better budget next month.Debt @ Dec 2009 £10,026.05

It looks like the bingo britain party has finally ended. They've just stopped adding bonuses to my account and have said I've 'abused' the game by withdrawing my winnings.
Cheeky devils.
I sent them a snotty email back, asking them to come clean and admit that they can't afford their own promotion instead of making accusations at me. I don't expect a reply.
Guess I don't love them after all. Although me and OH made close to £200 in 2 weeks so that can't be bad eh?Debt @ Dec 2009 £10,026.05

I'm really worried about the bad karma of having a row with an online virtual bingo hall.

I've just been watching the newsand evidently OH might be due cold weather payments. Is that right? Does everyone getting some kind of help qualify? I'll need to look into it.
I've decided to dig the car out this weekend, try my hardest to get it down the track and onto a road, park it a mile or so away from the house and walk to it every day for work. I'll have to leave all my equipment in it but it can't be helped. Our track is too icy to be negotiated on a daily basis. I just cannot afford to be off work any loger or all my recent debt busting will have been for nothing
I've lost the weight I gained from my smoking quit...yippee!!!:j The health kick is going well too.
Two debt payments have been made so my total has been updated. Overpayments not happening til income arrives at the middle of the month. I need to be patient.
Best of luck to everyone negotiating snow today.Debt @ Dec 2009 £10,026.05

Keep going LC. It is an ongoing battle. Even though you have had to use your pots for other things, like you say you haven't used a cc. Give yourself a pat on the back for that. I'm sure there is a thread/website called 'entitled to' that might help you with finding out what your eliglble for. Keep your chins up.
