Yep I went in January(and I'm going again in October hopefully if the OH fancies it)
I loooooove NY - it rocks - this time I'm staying on the Upper West Side - but my friend has never been so we'll do all the usual stuff then for my bday we're getting a cupcake cake and bottle of bubbly and riding the ferry at midnight and going to try and get them to sing to us and then go clubbing:D:D
Hopefully it will be warm too so I can strut my gossip girl stuff down 5th Avenue - I am the biggest Park Princess on a Primark budget going :cool:0 -

Please contribute, you're a wise and calming influence... i for one love your posts....
Thanks Maz.
The funeral is for a guy I never met. He was the husband of our Training Co-ordinator and the father of another guider I know well (she had my 'job' before me). He collapsed and died suddenly. I don't usual go to funerals lke that - I always feel that it's a bit like voreurism - but I was asked if I would like to go by the wife.
Looking a bit doubtful now cos Brit Gas still not here.
And I'm freezing cold. Could do with the heating on.0 -

Just checking
Maz, can you please reassure DH that he wont have to get nekkid or anything for the weigh in. He's panicking
What? You mean that they have stopped the "All men must be weighed in a thong" policy................shame that:D
I am feeling a bit better today and have actually managed to get out of bed, eat some toast and get dressed.
Just waiting for Asda to come.
I lost a bit of weight on the Slimming World program but to be honest I know that my enemy is the lazy takeaway and crisps, nuts, biscuits, nachos with cheese, red wine......:oBut these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -

Hmm depends - I did prommise NOT to take my trainers because I'll be recovering from the marathon but I will prob do a few laps (its about 10k all the way round so not too big) - I ran in it in Jan and its pretty amazing so I'd hate to miss the opportunity this time round
Yep this is me (in my dreams):0 -
