Hi Nellis, and Scuba, and Sammy-Kaye...

Welcome to the 20p club - of course you can all join (everyone is welcome here!! :D). Its not run quite the same way as the £2 club. Miseter started things off way back when, but he hasn't been around recently (well, not that I've seen, anyway!) so nobody is "in charge" of the club as such - we all just pop on now and again and update folks on how we're getting along, and it seems to work, in spite of a lack of "official" organisation!!;)

So...good luck to all of you with your collections - they'll build up in no time! :T - and please come back and update us regularly (apart from anything else, it keeps the thread "easy to find" in the first few pages!! :p).

Look forward to hearing how you're getting on...

    Another one for me today.:T

You know, I've decided that it gets harder to spend them the more I get... To start with, I didn't really seem to have enough to buy anything significant and didn't want to fritter them away on tiny things for a couple of pounds because I wanted to save them for "something special". Now my total is building up beautifully, I keep arguing with myself about whether what I fancy is worth my lovely collection :o - I'm becoming very mean with my 20ps (not with anything else...I can still bring myself to spend other money :rotfl:, but just not these lovely little coins!!).

At this rate, I shall still be saving when I retire (still looking for the perfect "worthy" purchase)...:o

and I'm only 33 at the moment!;)

Two for me this week! Have hardly got any at all this month due to being generally skint and waiting for my first pay from my new job... PAYDAY IS MONDAY - YIPPEEEEEEEEEE! Hopefully will get loads more over the next couple of weeks!

Hi to all the new savers :hello: - methekidsandthecat, honeychunky, sugaJen, nellis10, scuba147 and sammy_kaye18. Good luck with your saving!

Wow Piglet, you're doing really well with your 20p saving, wish I had your willpower... can usually only get up to a fiver and then have to spend them all!

i know i've only just joined, but i have a really large whiskey jar that i collect all my change in and so i decided to count it to see how many 20p's were in there?

after a bit of counting i have £14.60. This is only since i last emptied the jar about mid June ish!!!! So not a bad start and now i can keep updating for everyone involved.

:D Just had a quick recount in the Smartie tube and there's exactly £5.00 in there now...so that makes £35.00 in total!!!
