Wordsmith, I am absolutely devastated to hear your news. I don't know you but I have been drawn into your world and life and have loved reading of your adventures, as you write so well of them.

I really don't know what to say other than I am sending you love, strength and wellbeing. By the spaceship load. Which sounds horrendously cheesy but there we are.

I'm so sorry to hear your news, I never know the right things to say but I'm thinking of you and sending positive thoughts your way. Definitely put yourself first and don't let the debt get you down, your health is more important.

I'm stunned and I can't even begin to imagine the mixture of emotions you're feeling, I can only echo what others are saying and that is to look after yourself as much as you can and do not worry about putting others first as you so often do, it's now time to put yourself first.
If sorting finances out makes your thought process easier to manage then do it but please not to the detriment of you.
if there is anything I can do or anyone of us can please ask, I'm sure everyone who follows your fantastic witty diary is thinking the same, glad to hear that others are supporting you in person.
