Oh b!gger. Word I am so sorry to hear your news. I am SO GLAD that you have such supportive people around you in real life.
If necessary write to your creditors and explain, and ask for a reduced payment plan. I am sure they would be helpful under the circumstances.
Make sure you eat right when you can as well. It will help you fight the cancer and the effects of chemo.
Gentle hugs mate

Oh gosh, what a huge shock. And how amazing you are to keep your sense of humour while dealing with illness AND all the bureaucracy of medical cards etc etc. I hope the system kicks in and you get the support you are entitled to without hassle.

Another {{{hug}}} coming your way. A big shock, and plans all jumbled, but you're amazing, still being you and being able to put it all down in writing as clearly as ever.
What a wonderful supportive crowd you have too. Please let us know how you go when you feel up to it (we are cheaper than texts) but your priority is to look after yourself and take it a day (or ten minutes) at a time.
Much love. xxMiggy

Oh Wordsmith sorry to hear your latest - and very glad to hear you have lovely people with you.
I do hope everything goes as smoothly as possible for you. Can you put the house on the market with tenants in, as long as you've given them notice? Do just park all the 'stuff' at the bottom of your list though and concentrate on getting well before all else.

Your friends are being amazing and I am pleased that you have supportive people around you. Don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it either because I know that you are independent but there are times...you know what I mean.
Eat well, take care of yourself and if you need a sounding board then we are here.
