How mucd would a HOD teacher of a Sec School in Ni earn please?

Teachers salaries are based on 10 months but paid out over 12 months to allow for school closure, thats why subs are paid more daily because they arent paid when the school is closed.

I wasn't questioning the OP's right to ask, only the reaction it provoked.
Am I the only person on here who has been more than happy with the dedication and genuine interest shown by their childrens teachers? OK, there were a few who werent up to the mark but the vast majority have been very good at their job.

I can sympathize with OP's predicament re: the extended family and always wanting to have family events in expensive places etc..... We had the same problem several years ago, we couldn't afford the constant birthday do's in posh hotels, so we had to decline the invitations, when asked why we found telling the truth was the best way to get them to understand;) Since then parties have been in alternate homes with everyone chipping in with the food and drink each time:T:T:T:T and have been more enjoyable than eating so called posh nosh in swanky eateries anyway
