  • If the appeal goes to the council then its official, if it goes to NCP then its private.

Haha! Yes, do you have any tips for that headache?

Last time I got a ticket it was for £30, now it's an inflation-busting £50. If it was still £30 I'd have just paid it, but I object to being ripped off so now don't feel like paying anything.

Its a scam, you owe them nothing at all, don't communicate with them, and buy some annadin plus with the money you are saving for your hangover, and drink a lot of water.

Now you owe me £50 reduced to £30 if you pay within 14 days for the hangover cure ;)

They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

  • Hi
I parked on a council car park yesterday and was issued with a Parking Contravention Charge Notice issued by NCP, there is no mention of Bolton Council on the notice at all. Where do I stand? Will it be pursued by NCP or Bolton Council??
    Please advise.

If there is nothing about a council on there its likely a PPC ticket only, if the payment is directly to NCP and not a council then its an unenforceable ticket, probably best to scan the ticket take out your details and upload it to tinypic and give us a link, we will tell you in seconds.

Parking Charge Notice = scam, ignore.

Penalty Charge Notice = real, appeal to Council.

    'Tis easy.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • hi all nothing to be proud of i work for bolton ncp all our car parks used to have bolton council on all the notice boards around the carparks as we are in partnership with bolton council, ncp decided to put there prices up and bolton council had there name covered up on every single notice board with some sort of blue tape so u cant see there name anymore, the pccn they issue is a parking contravention charge notice if u recieve a pccn you have to appeal or pay directly to ncp, hope this helps i assume you dont have to pay any pccn's as they are a ppc but just in partnership
