I thought I would get blasted for coupon abuse thats why I didn't use my real username, though I don't usually post on this thread..

To be honest I did too but in my opinion as long as you are keeping to the rules and not abusing the policy good luck to you. Not sure why you havent used your real user name if you are keeping to the coupon policy. The only way you will be blasted is if you are spoiling the use of coupons for the rest of us.

Oh, sorry, forgot it's ok to defraud the manufacturers not Tesco - silly me!

No doubt you'll think its just as funny when a security guard... or a police officer.. wants to talk to you about your defaced coupons.

Gutted, bought the mag monday and tried the coupon - it worked fine - So i bought a few more mags and went today and they were blocked.

Fortunately i had a standby coupon ready in my back pocket (my tesco only accept one).

It was 3.45pm, so came out with 18 reduced items for £1.89, so still worth the journey.

Might go on Sundays more often. :D

I had the same thing happen....annoying as hell it is, i guess i might have to actually buy ok magazine occasionally!! why can't they just let us have our fun occasionally?? hmpf.
    Won't buy nuffink without a discount :p

So do I. And I am not you am I? (MM5 you are norty)!! :rotfl::rotfl:

But seriously, I save more than you do and I only go in one store per day usually (sometimes 2 different stores if I need more food to feed the starving kiddies in my house).

I don't split my shopping and I don't go back in for a second transaction. I just collect every different coupon I possibly can and prioritise using the commonest ones (like the cheese one from the Tesco mag, and the printables). I keep back the rarer mocs to use only if I need to - if the shopping hasn't gone down to a low enough total for my liking! I also get my shopping down to pence, usually from around £30 at the moment.

I feel sorry for the cashiers who are letting you split your shopping into 4 or 5 batches on the conveyor (if I read your post right?). They'll get into trouble one day about this - and so will you in the end.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Mad only splits his shopping (into two) on occassions. But certainly not to the extent of fifteen or twenty shops. It would be so time consumimg and cut into Mads drinking time. I also have to visit two or three times over the weekend as me rucksack don't hold that much. :)

I had a good shopping weekend, and managed to buy a mountain of Regina camomile-fragranced toilet paper for only 29p per 4-roll pack (it's currently half price in Sainsbury's plus I had a stack of £1 off MOCs which I had gathered during Regina's "double your money back" offer recently). Mister C J says it smells like a tart's boudoir, but I'm not sure how he knows this.

I have never split my shopping into 2 let alone fifteen or twenty as I'm one of those faint hearted......................e.g walked into t's and was at the cs to get points added. Soon after two policemen walked in.....for a split second I thought I wud get arrested....even though not even done any shopping at that point.......lol!!!

finish coupons scanned through like a breeze......................
