Has anyone tried this in Tesco? Do they work?

Ah yes, just spotted it also says in the main part of the coupon, as well as the band across the top. Was thinking if I cut the top of it may work but probably be spotted.

Mind you, the new T that has opened near me seems to take anything and everything at the moment, so I'm making the most of it while it lasts!

I signed up to this a few years ago and have never had anything from them except newsletters with American coupons in it. Heinz is another that I signed up to a long time ago and have never had anything except 2 or 3 email adverts. Doesn't hurt to try though - nothing ventured.....

Yeah, likewise, have signed up and no email through and I've checked junk mail - nada!

Has anyone got a pdf they can post or something?

I disagree about not going in twice. I don't see what difference it is for somebody going to the shop twice in one day per week or so to somebody going in every day. They would probably use less coupons. I have the 5 coupons only policy, but if I go in more than once in a day (I go virtually every day) the 5 I give on the second visit are usually different to the 5 on the 1st visit and it is usually hours later, but if I have gone over 40 miles to a big T's who's coupon policy is we take all sometimes and sometimes (only10%) depending on SA and manager on duty I go out to car and then go back in. What does it really matter, they are still claiming back, making money and getting sales  Notice how many items Asda are saying on their advert are cheaper than Tesco's, thousands. By the way I use T Express and their prices are lots higher than the Tesco itself, so I feel that they are taking advantage of the customers who want variety but can't get to a big supermarket. They must purchase at the same price as the big stores!!! i.e. I got some teabags half the price in big T's to what they are in my Tesco Exress (over £2 difference)!!

I think you got lucky here but not for long. Maybe they dont know you yet but they will if you carry on doing it eventhough you are using 2 different batch of coupons in 1 day, it makes no different. Their policy on the sign board in January states that you are only allowed to used coupons once a day.

I for once was challenge by the supervisor bcoz somebody (which I suspected the women starts with 'T' old trout) told her that I have already used coupons to shop in that morning but I was not as I was working & I dont have time to shop until I finished work. I asked the supervisor to tell me who said that but she wouldn't. I told the supervisor to go & check with the security & look at their CCTV & proof it to me that I was there! After I have paid using my COUPONS, I was fuming & when to talk to the security who knows me, told him what happened & he agreed with me that I was not in the shop that morning as he was there all the time. Infact the security told me to complaint it to the Manager. I did but its no use as a matter of fact - they couldn't care less. All the manager said was - I'm sorry, it happens mistaken identity.

Isn't this altering or defacing coupons?....think your heading for a fall here.

I'm not sure what moc you are referring too, but cutting off info from the moc which states it if for a specific store and then using it in Tesco is Fraud!

A while ago one of my favourite sa's told me about a shopper who was doing this in our local store. He was called in to speak to security about it and was fearful of losing his job because of her activities. Fortunately they felt it wasn't his fault but he had to let security know next time she came in. She was escorted from the store after a chat with security and not been back since. I think she got off lightly as they could have taken it further.

Those who tamper with mocs need to remember that they may not be the only one who suffers because of it. I've seen a young sa nearly in tears after a telling off for getting moc policy wrong and know of others who have been pulled up. TBH I think its mostly the store at fault for not training the sa's properly to understand what their not especially generous moc policy is.

And for the record, the other thing the woman who was defacing mocs was in trouble for, was split shops, which are very definitely not allowed and I would not risk doing multiple shops in a day around here.
