It took some doing but after figuring out I needed to turn off 3rd party cookies I got into my clubcard account but there isn't a "my contact preferences" section. I think I will call them. Thanks anyway for the info!
Edit: I just called them and he said I should get them but they come out at random and I should just keep shopping (spending money was what he was really thinking) and hopefully I will get one someday.
You need to click on the bit that says "My Account" across the top right hand corner, [next to Logout, Help, basket, checkout] to get to contact preferences.
Contact preferences is under Your Account Details. Just make sure all boxes are unchecked and confirm.
I did this before and started getting till spits. I did it again recently after a till spit drought and started getting some again.
HTHSo your answer don’t be scared of failure

Can anyone help, my local store will only accept coupons that will scan, and I'm having big problems getting the Cif pdfs to print out in a good enough quality. i have tried making them bigger, smaller and printing in 720dpi and using irfranview but nothing seems to work. Would be really grateful if someone could point me in the right direction.0

I used to regularly get till spits when I wasn't using coupons but ever since I do small regular shops so I can use my coupons it seems that I very rarely get them!0 -
I know that my T issue raincheck slips at the CS desk if a prduct is on special offer/reduced price and not availabe as it is out of stock as I often ask for them and have had no problem.I did think at one tome that they had stopped issuing them but I was told to ask for a raincheck by a friendly SA when I told her I had been into the store every week for a special offer/reduced price item that was always out of stock and she told me to explain at CS and they happily gave me a raincheck and have done so ever since when items are out of stock and never when it is as described above always individual items which are just reduced in pricebut out of stock and I know the staff use them in this way too as I have seen them
Perhaps my T's construe the policy in a different way as with coupon policy so it always pays to check with the store - at least it seems mine gives us a better deal with this one:cool:
My Tescos also give out raincheck vouchers for out of stock items that are on a special/half price offer. You are allowed to use them for a max of 6 of the item specified.
My favourite one at the moment is the fairy platinum dishwasher tablets that you can use with the £2 coupons from the washing up liquid. These are often out of stock because used with the £2 voucher they only cost £1.39 for a 22 pack.
Once the half price deal ends I buy them at full price £6.78, use the raincheck voucher for £3.39, then use my £2 coupon so they still only cost me £1.39 but I get clubcard points based on the higher price.
:mad:Word of warning......Not all cashiers know how to enter rainchecks on the till so hand them over before any other MOCs in case they call a supervisor.
I recently got caught out after my lovely young cashier had happily scanned all my MOCs (about £18 on a shop costing over £100) then got stuck on how to enter a raincheck. The TROUT who arrived took off all my MOCs bar £5 and then argued with me about my raincheck for 3 of the item. I stood my ground and eventually (with gritted teeth) she put the correct amount £10.17 through.
Its a shame she was so busy denying that her store follows the national coupon acceptance policy that I showed her (according to her it has been £5 only for years even though most weeks I have all my MOCs accepted without quibble), that she didnt bother to explain to the cashier how to process the raincheck, so he is probably still none the wiser!
In fact she was quite rude to the cashier also just taking over on his till and making a great show of taking off all my coupons.
Needless to say Dundee had a phone call about her attitude!0 -

The barcode on the Cifs aren't very good. Ask the SA to use the hand held scanner, as that usually works for me. Another idea is to make the barcode larger and glue it onto the back of the coupon. Just ask the SA to scan the back of the coupon. HTH.0 -

This is good advice as my Cif always go through with the hand held scanner0 -
Thanks for the advice, will try tomorrow
Thanks again0 -
Tripod's a brilliant name (along with "Legless" or "Hopalong"). Dogs have quite a sophisticated sense of humour, so I'm sure he sees the funny side. .
My family call my sight impaired West Highland Terrier - "Blind Bill" - arrhhh its a shame... he doesn't seem to mind though (apart from when he is bumping into things...)Coupons Rock! :j0 -
Thanks Pat and VC for the philly help.
Well any ideas where is can store 24 packs of newborn nappies? I went to Adsa today armed with 1 X £2 off Huggies newborn coupon from a sample in the post, and a bag of £1 coins. Found the right packs with the 03 exp on (which is helpfully on a silver sticker) took 12 to the self scan explained to the SS supervisor what I was going to do, bought the first one with the moc I came with then opened the box took out the coupon bought the next.... well I'm sure you get the idea, till I had bought the 12 took them to the car. Then decided I would regret it if I didn't get more so got another 12 this time as I put through each transaction the supervisor opened the box and got the coupon out.
So for a £24 outlay I have £211.40 (some of the sample packs with the £2 & £1 leaflets had more than 1 leaflet:j) in MOC's 24 packs of nappies and 24 small packs of wipes.OH said I'd gone too far this time when he saw the boot and backseat:eek:. Also got 10 packs of Finish, £2 at Asda so free, and 4 dishwasher cleaners £2.50 so paid 50p for each.AKA: PC
