hi wannabe - i think everyone has ate stuff they shouldn't have this weekend... it's the done thing in the hols!!
Stay focused, have a good few days, and i bet you'll be okay for weigh in!
Plus i bet you walked most of them fish n chips off hun!!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Becky I never thought you were being insensitive, I just wanted to point out how hard it is to change mentally whether you are on a TV program or just an every day kind of person. Im sure your sister feels the same in a different kind of way because Anorexia is all about control and feeling like its the only thing she can, control. Weirdly though overeating is generally down to low self esteem, built in habit of eating to cheer yourself up and general over indulgence. Both are like an addiction though and very hard to overcome.
And there are my wise words for the day..i'll go back to being a numpty nowI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
Woohoo, I got a parcel this morning that turned out to be from the Cosmopolitan March prize draw, I won a bottle of Kylie's new perfume!

Well luckily for her shes beat her demons now:D (although shes still a size 4-6 but shes happy enough and thats what matters
)
I've never sufferred from low self esteem like that which is probably why I dont understand/sympathise - not matter how bad I looked (and trust me it has been bad - geek glasses, spots etc) I always knew I have my brain to fall back on so I always felt okay - now I revel in my nerdness:D

I'll try and find some photos later Maz...quite funny when I look back at them now although I dont think I have any at my fattest!
I am naturally small but too much beer, chips and uni lifestyle piled the pounds on. I will always have a fat !!!! and legs though..kind of in the family!(Land_of)_Maz wrote: »
Big G and i were talking about whether i will stop CD when i get to 12stone, which was my original target, and i said i really didn't know as i had never been slim in my adult life... he reckoned that to get to 10 and a half stone(top of healthy BMI. 25) would be too slim for my frame... but i said i honestly don't know what my frame is as it's been hidden under my bulk for so long!
who knows what you will feel like when you get to that weight..I think you will want to keep going!I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....
