Blimey Maz I have just seen your siggy 43.5 pounds thats amazing...you should be on the biggest looser
I would love that! getting peace and quiet and licence to spend all day every day in the gym!!
Not sure i have the mental capacity for some of the challenges though!!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Ouch - I just bit my cheek eating a pear
I often wonder what happens to the contestants on shows like that - do they put on weight again a year or so after when they dont have access to a gym all day??0 -
Morning
Fingers crossed for Lenny and of course Mrs L today. Hope for some news soon
Maz, you're doing so well with your running and weight loss hun. Just recently I've been thinking about doing CD:cool:
Ringing the local jewellers in a bit about possibly selling some of me family jewels. Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

I'm not going to say anything against it, as it's working for me... even though i'm not being 100% good all of the time.... It is hard and you have to be focused... i think you could manage it, but you need support of OH and kids to get there... there are plenty of places online to research it... plus you have me sammy and bunny to pump for advice at any time...
I'll admit to being worried about coming off it and maintaining my weight when i get down to where i want to be... but not near that point yet.....I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

It would be interesting to see what percentage of those in the show keep the weight off. My guess is those that are there the longest and have more time to adjust their thinking would be more successful in keeping it off. I too would love to go somewhere like that, be able to go running, gym without any guilt and loads of me me me time :TI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

I wonder if DH might do it with me. Maintaining after coming off it would be my fear too, after all I failed to maintain after I lost 3 stone with SW.
Will have a read later and look into it a bit more.Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Thing is once you are down to your target weight you can then use something like food focus to put your calories in and exercise done and be able to maintain your weight. You will soon then get to know the quantities that you can eat to stay the same weightI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. not that you need to go somewhere like that... but i know what you mean about the me time!! - what luxury!!
If i do come down to Dorset in the summer, we should get ourselves a day in a spa with a gym somewhere/somehow... dunno who would babysit or anything but we can work out details later!I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0
