Sky+ box and its high-pitched noise.

Clicking could be the antime content being sent to the hard disk, but shouldn't really be constant. It tends to only happen when the box is in standby, but then stops once the data has been sent. If you don't use the anytime, you could try switching it off (services and 6) and see if it makes a difference. My old sky+ box was the same, I thought it was the hard drive. Got it changed in Jan to a new one with anytime tv function now it seems to make a constant clicking noise. Does anyone know if this is the programmes "dropping in" the anytime tv?
P.s - thats when I get get an un-interupted programme past week has been shocking for interference not sure if its just the high wind or if the box is on the blink, again !0 -
Thanks for that aamuk, we use it now and again but doesn't seem to be much in it at the mo, may switch it off for a while0
