Well done fedup on emptying that drawer - 10 moisturisers  just think how lovely your skin will be with all that moisturising
Hi to Kezlou too.
I've used up a mini facial microdermabrasion from No7 on Friday and a body microdermabrasion yesterday. Also another old moisturiser mini finished on Thursday night on my feetand another one ready to use out the cupboard
Took 2 things back to Boots yesterday, facial things I'd bought on offer just before I started the challenge and was able to swap them for the Time delay product I actually really like which I got a few free with an offer last year as I've used up all my random samples of daily facial exfoliator/cleanser.
A few more bits lined up for ebay tonight I think.Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000

Can't believe it's been two months!
I am finally at the end of a shower gel, so I think I'm going to use all the little travel pots - fool myself into thinking the stash is reducing at a much faster rate than it really is...
Bizarrely I thought I would miss buying DVDs far more than I do, and I thought the toiletries would be the easy bit as I had so much to choose from anyway (and it didn't even enter my head to think that maybe the reason I had so much stuff was that I buy it compulsively  Not the brightest spark, it has to be said).:rotfl:0 -
Evening all,
Finally managed to get a bit of the garden done this weekend, spent £30 on chips for a bit under my kitchen window - looks lovely! Has also made me realise that the £35 I spent on the dress from Oasis would be better spent sorting the rest of the garden! It is going back, OH gets really annoyed when I do this and I can see his point, think it's the thrill of buying that is my problem - I know I will wear it once then it will be put in the wardrobe, so off to Oasis I go for a refund!
Also used a shower gel, bought a new one though and trying to get into the habit of only buying something when it runs out!
Well done everyone else x0 -
Done well this week - nothing bought and a major pampering session yesterday morning in an attempt to start getting rid of my stocks. Edging towards the bottom of a few bottles and jars but is seems to take so long. Just realised I don't think I've ever actually finished a moisturiser I tend to get to a point where 've got too many and throw away the ones I haven't used for a while or no longer like. How wasteful!0

Hi everyone for the warm welcome!
Well so far so good, four days without buying cakes or biscuits, the temption was there but it my boys who pulled me away saying mam hurry up the police horses are outside.
So four days for me whooo hoo, im feeling the lack of sugar though.
Was cleaning through my bedroom when i found another two bottles of bubble baths, that's fourteen bottles  how why i will never know.
But got through a small tub of moisturiser, now only big ones to go. Bubble baths for all tomorrow night.0 -

Hi all!
Sounds like everyone is doing really well! I have been really pleased with the focus which this thread has given me, although I had quite a big lapse over the weekend with some sushi - but it was a friend's birthday, so not too worried. Because I had decided not to spend so much money on sushi, I enjoyed it all the more this time.
Was given a couple of bottles of bubble bath - not 14 though  - that's hilarious! Only problem is....our house doesn't have a bath!:rotfl:Overpay!0 -
Well didn't get my ebaying done
but did have a nice bath and used up:
1 Lush bubble bath bar - normally split these in 2 to make them last longer but this one was so hard just threw it all in as it's a few years old
1 little pot of soap and glory flake away - I love this and only have one sample pot left
1 little bottle of Lancome cleanser/toner from GWP. I now just have the rest of the pack of wipes and a big bottle of NO7 Cleanser and another of toner left. All the samples/minis are gone :T I've decided I must use up the cleanser & toner before I buy more wipes so that's the next thing to target.
Whilst this challenge has saved me money as I've hardly bought anything since Easter now, showed me what I actually had and made more space in my bedroom, one of the biggest things is I've actually developed a beauty regime, e.g. face for morning and evening, moisturising my feet and hands before bed each day - with really dodgy moisturiser atm but I'm sure it's helping and it's getting rid of it:T

Feeling good that I have broken the habit of buying food at lunchtime whilst at work. When I got up this morning considered "treating" myself to a sandwich today, then went to the fridge and dragged out some weekend leftovers to take with me.
By using up all your cosmetics, you get a chance to see what you really like - I did this last challenge, and now allow myself to buy those things whenever I need them, even though some are pretty expensive. I know I will use them and appreciate them.
Four and a bit weeks to go everybody0 -
Everyone looks like they are getting in the using up stashes routine, just like me!
Thrown away a Pedkur Lotion and Cream for hard skin removal as it made the ends of my fingers go funny and I haven't used it for nearly 2 years. Feel happy at throwing it away and it hasmade a bit more space in the bathroom for a change!
Just used up a 15ml Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel and 15ml Elemis Exotic Cream Moisturising Mask.
Unlikely anymore Elemis for me to buy apart from Gentle Rose Exfoliator and Lavender Herbal Repair Mask in future but probably not for the next 12mths as have so many to get through - will count up the number of masks and exfoliators to goquite a few OMG
Yorkielass - what does GWP meanI have seen this a lot on the Boots Thread and I have no idea what it refers to, just curious that's all.
See you all next time something else is used up, not sure what will be next are a few things coming to the end shortly!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Right at the risk of boring everyone to tears about all of this I have counted up my mask, exfoliator and moisturiser collection.
This shows how far I still have to go despite not buying any for ages.
Moisturisers 10 unopened
4 opened - using 2 at present
all full size, haven't counted the small sizes yet, of which there are plenty
Exfoliators 5 full size
7 x 15ml sizes
Masks 7 full size
6 x 15ml sizes
:eek::eek:
How bad is that?
I've come a long way, still a long way to go to use things up and not restock until they are gone
Identified some things for ebay
2 masks that are unopened
I Ojon Hair Treatment massive size which I can't see me using anytime soon as have one on the go already and not bothered about repurchasing
1 facial wash sealed
Some Bare Minerals make up which I have stacks of and is unopened.
The bathroom declutter is going to take some time.......final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550
