  • I know Aggrevated Trespass & Criminal Damage are criminal offences BUT aggrevated trespass needs to meet criteria to escalte from trespass which is NOT a criminal offense...

Its like you talking to a mate who is still in the process of divorce & saying he should propose to his new girlfriend...

In which instance you should be arrested for "Conspiracy to commit bigamy!"

Its a bull**** charge & doesnt & cannot exist in law.

The criteria is not met for any offence.

In all honesty I could spout facts at you til im blue in the face, if you deny it all then theres nothing I can do.

200 police at a school arresting some tree huggers? Yet they do not even bother to attend burglary calls. They do not patrol the streets. They offer no protection to innocent citizens going about their general daily business.

Who are these people answerable to? I would rather my tax money went on a police force that was capable of tackling real crime, and assuring public safety - rather than quite frankly lunatic over reaction to anything that might be a demonstration.

IF they really thought something was going to go down then perhaps a rapid reaction force of maximum fifty police might have been useful on standby. They might even have got that old fashioned thing they used to call evidence.

42 days without proof in the hands of this lot? I feel a whole lot safer - not.

I assume your Special Constable application form is in the post then Mewbie?

Well, I am currently employed... phew. If all else fails I might give it a go, but I might not be the type they are looking for.

    Spout away.

Start your spout by giving ONE example of the prosecution or intended prosecution of ANYONE for "conspiracy to commit aggrevated trespass"...

If the law is as clearcut as you feel it is you should be able to fill this space

I wonder if Board Activist and Politburo member formerly known as Pablo Neruda was amongst the unwashed arrested
  • Sorry for not having access to British Case Law on my home PC, I'm sure there have been people in the past both charged then convicted of this offence, but even if there weren't it doesn't mean it isn't a crime, it just means it isnt a common one.

Don't you think that if you were right we might well have heard someone about this in the Daily Mail, Guardian and other anti-Police newspapers?

We haven't because you are incorrect.

    Have you got a list?

That would make interesting reading of what people can conspire to do or not to do.

Anyone with an understanding of British criminal law will realise what is and what isn't 'on the list' so to speak.

I entered this debate as all I saw was pointless cut and pasting from wikipedia/google and I don't intend to traverse the samer route of posting rambling lists of legislation.

I could post a list with scenarios, but I've already done that already to assist in understanding the subtle nuances within the law...but to no avail.
Anger ruins joy, it steals the goodness of my mind. Forces me to say terrible things. Overcoming anger brings peace of mind, a mind without regret. If I overcome anger, I will be delightful and loved by everyone.

Thank you for the polite & courteous response pointing out my failings to understand the law.

I look forward to the first arrest for conspiracy to commit murder as a result of a drunken fight when someone says "smack him one" when the fight doesnt even take place of course!

How is that poor example of conspiracy to commit murder relevant to this topic?

You were saying "conspiracy to commit aggravated trespass" isnt an offence, but of course it is.

Are you now saying "conspiracy to commit murder" isn't an offence? I think you've lost the room.
