Teachers demand 10% pay rise

those who cant do, teach. teachers couldnt hack it in the real world and so stay working with kids. a lot of them are women and that tells you its own tale.
Wondered when you would next pop out of the woodwork! Still, you give me a chance to ask the following:
What about people like myself who have worked in your 'real world,' taught and built up a business as well? I know many teachers who, not wishing to do the job beyond about age 50, built themselves alternative careers.
Perhaps we're a bit smarter than you think?

if your business was doing well youd stay doing it and not run off to teaching at the first sign of a recession. people who leave teaching have made anough money off us that they can go into semi retirement with a part time job in a cafe or diy shop.0

You'll have to do better than that.
After 30+ years with some of the most skilled wind-up artists on the planet, I know when to just nod, smile to myself and move on.
OK, discussion's over; everyone look at the whiteboard......0 -

You are not that smart arguing with a Troll'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. Did I say "cancel all education"
Er Did I?
or
have you trumped up a point and twisted what I said???
hmm, think its the second option:rotfl:Bizarre.
Nope education is a wonderful thing.
Pity you missed out, then
This thread is another fine example of the public sector employee living in LA LA land, expecting everything because they have thrived under Clowns leadership.
Unfortunately Clown thinks he has a chance of winning another election and is now gerrymandering on an absolutely MASSIVE scale by failing to tackle this massive pension timebomb and over employment in the public sector.
After all he can't possibly annoy all those 100s of thousands of public sector employees he has employed, as part of this failed socialist experiment, just before a general election is called. Even he isn't that stupid:rolleyes: So we carry on, building up massive liabilities all so Brown can think he has a chance of winning.
Some where along the line it will come to an abrupt halt. The country has no choice.
I'm just sick of public sector employees complaining and at the same time having no comprehension of what they actually get

Your skills of analysis, attention to detail and depth of knowledge need some work. I'd say an E plus (allowing for a grade for finding the library by yourself).
See if you can improve your grade:
Question: Is it more cost effective to pay for teachers' pay - including 10% backpay for five years- via tax or for each parent to pay for private education?
Question: are University employees public sector workers?
Question: Define socialism and explain how this state is socialist.
Question: In another post you say the state is Marxist. Explain using evidenced analysis.
Question: Would you care to swap jobs for a week? Happy to post my workload for you and pay. L (NB: Let's test la la land - of course, my job isn't in the real world is it? And netiher are any of the many jobs I have done from 16 years old onwards.
Question: are you serious or simply a wind-up poster? If your answer is 'serious' I suggest some extra educational support asap.

As I always say to people who are jealous of teachers/want to tell me how much better they would be at my job..
Why don't you .. get a degree... Do teacher training... Become a teacher...?
After all, if it is all they are talking it up to be there should be a lot more teachers than there are!0 -

You're right - it does tell me something. It tells me that men couldn't hack being in a class with 33 kids. After all some of them run a mile when asked to look after their own child.0 -

Do you really want Triggers job sweeping the streets (not that there is anything wrong with that, I may add:D).'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is.
