well, used up my quidco money for petrol. It bought me 11 litres, I've set my mile counter to zero, I think it should do me for 60 miles or so. That hopefully will be a fortnight's driving and then see what I need for the rest of the month.
Got one of my CC statements - deep joy  . Can't pay the minimum on that until I get my WTC.
Got a birthday card with £2 in from my nanna and grandad
Bank account still says £759 so I'm going to move over £50 until my mortgage goes out on the 12th and my WTC goes in and then move it back again.
Going to finish off the job application I started yesterday for the data protection job.
I have been thinking today though - if I get a full time job, the money will mean that I can start paying it all off a bit quicker, but it will be hard work adding in teaching as well - and the 30 weeks of my teaching course I have ahead of me. I think that will burn me out quicker than my current situation!
I have planned the ideal situation, but there's the matter of finding a job to match it! What I would really like is
Job 1
25 hours per week (5 hrs per day Mon-Fri) salary of £25,000 pro rata which would be £16,750. This would be £1,040 per month.
plus
Job 2
4 hours per week teaching. This would be an extra £200 a month after tax during term time
plus
Job 3
AQA - use AQA at the weekends as my debt busting tool. If I did £80 each weekend, that would be £320 a month in term time I could clear off my debt because Jobs 1 and 2 would be covering the bills, petrol and food. Outside term time I would need to use AQA to earn £200 to make up for the teaching and then anything extra would be my debt busting money.
That's the fantasy - I just need to find a job at 25k which is 25 hours!!! I just don't want the teaching to have to fall by the wayside after only 1 year but I don't really think I can work full time, do the teaching AND the teaching preparation AND AQA. I also have another 29 weeks on my teacher training to fit in."Stay Wonky":D
