I'm glad I'm not the only one that doesn't know! :rotfl:
It's pretty much definitely not what I first thought, if you can get it in a supermarket!
(And if it is - I want to know which supermarket!!!!)

lol - meat rub is different spice mixes. They are free from the butcher's counter at Tesco.
They are in big jars, about 5 or 6 different ones - ie peppersteak, BBQ, red Thai, Garlic and Herb and you can have a small bag full of as many as you like for free - that's what they are there for. You then sprinkle it over and rub into the meat before cooking. I use them as flavourings for sauces as well, ie chicken, tin of tomatoes and a handfull of the BBQ mix.
Another 10p on the daily scratchard.........yayyyy (said halfheartedly)
Meal was lovely last night (even though I do say so myself! :rotfl:) but my bank account has been hit hard by my rather indulgent trip to Tesco and it now has £759 in it _pale_ which is £20 short for the mortgage. I get WTC at some point in the month, but it won't be before my mortgage is due on the 12th so I'm going to need to move some money from my savings, but I will definitely be moving it back. I promise.
I've nothing else to come out before the 12th so I'll just move £50 and then after the WTC goes in, I'll move it back. I will have 2x £25 minimum payments to make on the other 2 CC's so I really won't have much more than pennies to last the month if I'm not going to dip into my savings.
My mum and dad want to know what I want for my birthday later this month. I'd like to be able to say money - they know it's tight for me with the job situation but I don't really want to go down that road, I think at going on 39 I should be old enough not to want money from them (it would be around £20), so I'm going to say some kitchen scales I've seen at Tesco Direct which are £12 and really flat ones."Stay Wonky":D

BB could you ask for Tesco vouchers for the scales? That way if needed you could always use them for food0

BB just a thought as I am logged in, have you joined bingoport? I use it to play totally free bingo, just leave it running in the background on auto. when you get 8000 points you can cash in for a £5 amazon voucher, I do most weeks and get some lovely free bits and bobs from amazon.
You get 1000 points to start with, but there are other ways to get points to play with too, you can refer a friend for 1500 points, you can post in the forum 10 times a day which gives you 100 points for each post and you can spin the wicked wheel. The wheel spins are 3 times each go and you can have 4 goes a day, so 12 spins daily.
Here is my referral link if you want to join or you can just go to bingoport.co.uk and sign up without going through me.:A

Anyway... I'm glad you had a nice anniversary dinner, I hope OH appreciated your effort. This month I've managed to not take anything out of savings plus, my bank have given me a gold card with 0% purchases and BTs for 12 months. So, I've just BT my credit cards and because the figure is staring at me every time I log onto the bank it reminds me why I need all of these no spend days this month. That said, I failed today, I have finally found a bra that fits like a glove and holds my mamoth boobage in the correct area, so I've just bought another 5 of them so I have 2 white 2 black and 2 nude
well, needs must and all.

pap - I might do that. I could ask for a gift card perhaps.....
Toto - I'll have a look at the bingport thingy - it isn't one I've seen before and I'm quite happy to have it on in the background. EDIT: just gone to the site - do I need to know your user ID or anything so you get the 1500 points? PM me if I do
Dinner was nice and he did appreciate what I'd cooked - he said each course was nice which was unusual for him!!! I did have to put up with him looking at the football on the PC between the started and the main course as he was waiting to see who play his beloved Man Utd in the finals but on the whole he behaved.
Oooooooh, a gold card..............get you posh Mrs Drummer lady :rotfl:"Stay Wonky":D
