what are you lot like - no rabble on my diary I'll have you know :rotfl:

Pulled out my paperwork to get all my course paid but my WTC letter has run out and I haven't had a new one, so that may put the kybosh on it all. The back page does say what they are going to pay me so hopefully that, plus the fact Iwork there, will be ok. If not, I'll just have to not do it, although the numbers are too low anyway for it to run so it might be academic.

Another £158 arrived in my account today from my shares. I forgot about one of the withdrawals so I will be able to pay more off my CC when the statement comes. i'll wait until it's here and then do the sums.

Found a spare self employed low earnings certificate application form so I'm going to send that off as they haven't yet sent me a replacement for the one that got lost in the post and then I can re-apply for my NI refund.

Been thinking of joining payment a day. Might help keep me going motivations wise over the months when I know there won't be much extra available to overpay.

Beanie - might ask about electoral work, thankyou. I used to work on the count many, many years ago on the evening of election night. It used to be £18 just to count, don't know what it is now.

I also need an idiots gardening class!

Instinct usually works in the garden. Too big - cut down. Don't like it - dig it up!

re gardening - I work on a "survival of the fittest" basis - cut EVERYTHING back, and if it is designed to grow again, it will, if it doesn't it won't :o

oh, and a weed is just a plant that is not in the place it is supposed to be in.....so if you say "oh, it is meant to be there", then it is a beautiful wild flower, rather than a pesky weed........:D

Just tried a couple of online CC's at 0% and was knocked back by both. Can't understand why really - last week I got a card with a 3k limit (the one I can get 2 free flights with for next year) and now both I try say 'no'. Perhaps I hae hit my limit of credit availability for my circumstances, after all I have got all those CC's with 0 balances on them, should really shut them down.

Won't try any more as that's my credit file with a big footprint in it for the next 6 months.
