You keep failing to mention the Adonis body your OH has, so that he can give you a "look" whenever he so chooses. :rolleyes:

The actual reason he gives you this look, is so that it undermines your confidence and you are more likely to be afraid of change and hence stick with him.

After all, his current good points consist of: If you wrap him in concrete, he will probably be able to stop a dingy from drifting off.

I agree with Ellidee. At the end of the day BB, he should be so bloody lucky to be completely perfect. That man is not fit to lick your boots.

Have you thought about gaining a bit of confidence by going to a ladies night swimming session at your local swimming pool. It is one of the good things at ours and ladies of all sizes there with an array of different swimming costumes and fitness levels. Would give you a boost before Portugal.

I have to say, that would fill me with fear Bizarrely, being in a swimming pool with men wouldn't bother me, but women would. I don't do the girly, all women together kind of thing.

I am the same, so can empathise, i hate the good ones who can work with weights in pools and swim 900 lengths to my 3.
I like swimming but only when no one else is about. Just had a thought, we have private pools nearby ( one in a farmers barn) who hire out by the hour. What about one of those?

BB - if you want to swim, SWIM!! Recently I was a size 28 and I hated my body with a passion but as I love swimming I had the attitude that my money is just as good as anyone else's and especially on holiday, you aren't going to see the people ever again, so who cares what other people think. As for your OH, well.....given that he sees you in less than your swimming costume on a nightly basis, his strange looks at you in your costume are immaterial.
