I've emailed my Mum and asked for either shower gel, the flat kitchen scales or a gift card for Tesco or Asda.

I've also just sent my CV and an email to the head of the school I've just finished teaching the sixth formers. I've said I feel I could be of use to them for short/long term cover, a few lessons per week etc in either cookery, media or drama. Perhaps I'll hear nothing, but as I now have a relationship with the school teaching some of their pupils, I thought - why not??

and boy do I need a grope!!! (I typed group first and perhaps though that was a Freudian slip fantasy coming out :rotfl:)

Just popped out and got the local paper and there's a 21 hour a week job I am going to apply for. It's a Data Protection Officer and is 22k pro rata so not the perfect solution but it's a job I could do (it would even use the Health & Safety qualification I did for free through work!!!!) and the salary would be better than the 14.7k pro rata i'm current on.

And it features brave men on boats on rough seas

Data protection officer sounds cool - I always wanted to apply for a similar job where I work, but it never came up at the right time. Then I got sucked by underwriting, and now I can't escape! I'm addicted to crushing peoples dreams with my trusty red 'decline' stamp....
