Yay. Purple Tixy:j. I'll go for £20 next week please Pointy :jtrying_to_stay_positive wrote: »:j can I join too? do you include spends of the kids or just personal spends?
Hello - very welcome - the more the merrier! Pointy Penguin will post nexts week's challenge on a new thread later today. There will be a link to it from this thread so we can find it easily.
Its down to you what you include, whatever helps you budget best. Its mostly for those additional unbudgeted or unnecessary spends. Some people include their groceries and fuel for example where others have those budgeted elsewhere so don't include them in this challenge. Perhaps if you have regular budgeted costs for the kids (pocket money/ after school activities) don't include them but if its extra costs/treats (cinema trips/toys) then include those. I set my budget depending on how far it is to pay day!
Just let PP know your budget for next week and report back either during the week or at the end to let us know how you did.
Good luck.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
Hi peeps.
Didn't do well with the challenge. I went over by about £10 after buying pizza, garlic pizza bread and a drink. Flipping tasty it was but i felt very guilty after i'd eaten it though.
Well, i will make a fresh start this week and stick to my £10 budget.
Good luck and enjoy the day.

Note to self - no more annual leave from work. These last two long weekends have seen my spending spiral out of control (and fall miserably off the Slimming World wagon
). It's tragic really.
Better luck next week. Can I put down £20 for this week? Need to reign it in a little (ok a lot :rotfl:). Hope everyone has a better week in the new thread xx

Hiya all
P P- your film sounds a bit hmm for me I am more into thrillers. I will have to look into those film cards for the future.
As you can see from signature no spending has occurred for the whole weekend spent OH's money instead (big pat on the back);).
Back to normal Monday so put me down for £25.00 to be on the safe side.:hello:SadSadJenJen
