Three NSDs is good considering that you're new to the challenge, and if it's stuff you needed don't beat yourself up about it. As long as you got tasty things filled with [strike]chocolate[/strike] value. :D
  • Hey guys

I just popped on to say hi and to record my spends, and the conversation of euromillions reminded me to get my lotto, as i'd forgotten all about it, but as its 21.20, think i might be a bit late! dont think boyf will be too happy. it's the one thing i'm in charge of and i've forgotten again.

on a positive note, it means i've had another NSD. Still have my whole £15 budget. Yay! :j

Well done too Tixy, only 3 days to go!!!

You too pennilesspete, you need your groceries, hope there were no little extras!!!

    Hi peeps,

I'm going through my budget like water!

Spent £3.41 on crisps, a newspaper, flavoured water and 'nice' biscuits :o.

This leaves me with £4.01 and thanks to F_F i'll be spending a quid on the lottery tomorrow. :rotfl:

    Have a good one.

babs I have a house full of chocolate that I am trying to eat slowly.

I have a drawer under my bed totally dedicated to sweets and chocolate. I love the stuff, but am not a fast eater of it. Thankfully most has long sell by dates. Lots still left from Christmas. Am eating some now :D
    Looking forward to the future.
  • I've just treated myself to The Sims Life Stories from Ebay in honour of my wages from my temping work last week coming through. So that's £3.20 gone. I'm doing some creative budgeting this week by not counting my petrol spend when driving back to Bath on Sun (It's getting closer! Eek! ) since I don't know how much it'll be. Dad said it was about £30 on the way down but I had 1/2 a tank when we set off, now I'm down to 1/4. So I'm keeping £40 to one side for it and hoping I don't go over that.

Oh my - the willpower you must have. I don't think I could sleep knowing was there calling to me!!

The good news today is I brought lunch with me - the bad news is I ate it at 11.30:rotfl:. Now I have hours to last and resist the urge to buy anymore.

Methinks that today is the day I b*gger the budget...

£1.20 on caffeine so far (More to follow) as I was running late and had no time to make flasks up.

£5 on Easter Egg for my friends (They did lend me their house for my holiday though)

£3 on Special Toffee in Thorntons. Yum :D

So, I have spent £9.20 today. Oops...

*edit* And 98p on pretzels. Dagnammit.

I'm £3 under my budget for the week, which sounds good, but I have a cinema trip arranged tomorrow! Doh!! But it's Zac Efron, who can blame me!!:o

It's amazing how much of my cash goes on my film addiction. Must really address that (but reeeeaaaally don't want to, hehehe).

Can I just ask in my best clueless newbie voice - "What's purple?" (any one who responds with "a colour" will get tutted at for crimes against comedy - you have been warned :D).

Good luck on the home straight peeps! xx

i so do this, except i take snacks with me and eat them all in the morning, then struggle all afternoon to stay away from the biscuits and crisps at work. (free, but not good for the waist line)

kate_pixy - i actually have no idea what 'purple' is and i was told i might be it, so thank you for asking.

Anyway i prob won't be now as had to spend £1.14 on three cans of coke for my night shift on saturday. so not impressed.
