That sounds about right Jo_R, my OH leaves everything to me now, I'm the one who checks the bank daily, sets up DD's & SO's from the correct account, rings up the people who are overcharging etc etc Although I'm glad it's me doing it in a way, atleast then I know what's going on. :T

I've given up on the spending diary, every day I asked if he'd bought anything, either he'd say yes or no, if yes I asked what and how much? and the reply was, 'Oh, I dunno' That's why I dont count his tips as incoming money for 'Us' it's money that keeps him out of the bank account! lol :rotfl:

    Good morning everyone
And another lovely day out there. Feeling kinda cr*ppy though so the sunshine is rather annoying for sore/tired eyes.

I've managed to get quicker at my clicks now, I used to take about an hour, I can now complete them all in the 1/2 hour before I start work :D

Made enough potato salad last night to last me all week, a little bit each day for lunch at work, save's me a few penny's on bread/chicken etc to make my lunch :T Shame the rest of my lunch isn't so healthy!! Lol

    Done/To Do list for today:
    Daily Clicks *Done*
Daily Scratch *10p Damn those fishes!!*
Shopping after work, need to make list when I get home and STICK TO IT!
Have an early night! Lol Random thing to put on a To Do list I know, but I need one and hopefully with it on my list I'll do it :D And then wake up tomorrow feeling a little better :T

Anyways, this is the start of my journey, I've been looking through the Green Finger threads and I'm definitely tempted but the only problem for me is that the only veg we tend to eat is potatoes (Very fussy OH and one of the boys) Any idea's on how I can get them to eat any other veg would be Great!!! OH will eat potatoes, pea's and 1-2 carrot slices, Stepson will only eat mashed potato! (What he doesn't know is that his 'Magic Mash' has carrots, broccoli & cauliflower mashed in as well although he's starting to question why there are different colours in his mash :o)

When I was a kid we grew all our own fruit and veg, and we were very fussy kids. We would eat raw carrot that we'd grown ourselves (carrot orange and sultana salad?), peas right from the pod, corn still on the cob - but I think the fruit was far more successful. Loved picking strawberries!! You might also try making 'healthy' cakes with your little ones - carrot cake (brown flour and lots of raisins instead of sugar), banana cake ... there are also recipes where you add apple sauce or prune puree instead of some of the oil/ butter.

Thats a very good idea Fire Fox. My problem is only with one of my Step Kids, he wont touch any fruit(!) and the only Veg he will eat is potato. What he doesn't know is that his 'Magic Mash' as we call it, has veg mashed into it, and we call it Magic Mash when he asks why there's different colours in his, we tell him it's because he wont eat any other Veg so we have to give him magic mash to help him grow.
Part of the reason for wanting to start growing my own Veg is to hopefully get him involved and maybe he will try different foods. We only have the boys on the weekends when my OH is home (they're his children from previous marriage, 6 & 8 are his, but he looks on his stepson as family also as he was around from when he was born).
Last weekend, his stepson told us that the picky one eats carrots at home, and it's only at ours that he wont, so we've caught on that it might be an attention thing. He also has some form of autism, although we dont know much as Mum doesn't tell OH anything. I will definitely be looking for some spare carrier bags and pots to put stuff in, just need to get some sort of soil to use and some seeds etc etc Tried one of those Childrens Cress pots from Asda, only £1, he was all into putting the soil and seeds in, watered it (when they went home I took over watering them) They came over weekend after and were over the moon that they'd grown! I said that you can use it in salads and sandwichs, youngest was well into it, while oldest was a straight out NO. Might have better luck with other Veg. Thank you Fire Fox :)

    Good Morning People
Another bright day, still feeling rough but working through it :D
Went to Asda last night, got myself a few bits for my 'Veg Idea'

    Compost - £1
    Propogator(sp?) - £2
    Pea's, Iceberg Lettuce & Carrot seeds - 3 for £4
    Childrens Strawberry Set - £2
Gloves + small fork and shovel + squirt bottle(also going to be used on kittens when naughty as the old squirt bottle is knackered!) 3 for £2
    Total - £11 :D

Hopefully if weather stays nice I will start seeding the Veg into the propogator(sp?) If I can get some help I will from the boys, OH will probably just look at me as if I'm mad! lol Already done the Strawberries as I'm a bit late in the season to be doing them, they're now in the window with a bit of cling film on top to keep warm (and so the kittens cant get them!)

    Daily list:
Daily Clicks *Done, I now have around £15, although most of it is 'Pending'*
Daily Scratch *Damn those fishes!! lol 10p*
    Check bank and update spreadsheet

Didn't get the early night I was after last night and I wont get one tonight as my fave program is on tonight, so I'll add that to tomorrows list! :rotfl:

Well, the weather is going back to normal again, overcast, what can you do lol

Not such a good week for me, had to get a new tyre for car on Tuesday as I was driving with a dodgy tyre on, and yesterday I got home to find a letter from Police  apparently I was caught speeding  !!!!!!!!! I normally do 30 in the area where I live, but on that day I don't think I was concentrating and got caught doing 35 :( So thats £45 for new tyre, and £60 when the letter comes through demanding money for fine  grrr I been driving almost 6yrs no points, no claims, no accidents, been a suprisingly good girl since I passed test and now I get the ticket! :rotfl: Ah well, never mind.

    Todays List
Daily Scratch *3 little fishes went to market, and brought me home 10p*
Daily Clicks *Will do them later when I've woken up a bit!*
Check bank and update spreadsheet, see what I can jiggle around to find money to cover both tyre and fine, otherwise it will be a CC job
