Ok girls, I have been reading a lot of diarys over the last few days and picked up some tips. They may help you or not but I am planning on trying them when I actually have some cash.

Thanks to the people who I have read them frm their diaries, but sorry I can't remember who they are.

    - once a week move any extra money (rounded to the nearest £10) to a different account (ie savings) - so if you have £101.89 then you move £1.89.

    - If your grocery shopping bill says you saved £5.61 then move that amount over.

I think those two ways will be a good way to save little amounts and they will add up to being a bigger thing.

I went to do the once a week from my account on friday but the amount I would have had to move was 32p lol so I didn't.

I haven't been dooyooing today but I have sorted 10 new items to list on ebay tonight, and have also sold dd2's cot and that' been paid for and collected so that will be a help this month.

Just read your post on Dawn's diary Jen. I always seem to be in the diary section now and forget to come in here, will try and remember though!

Good luck with the deposit fund Jen, sure you will find some fab ideas to do it, is good to have some motivation.

Some good tips there Yukki! I quite like the rounding up idea, think it was Dawn?

Stacy - sorry to hear the trouble you have been having, good to see you are going to give it your all to pay it off though

I have had a good weekend, went to see Take That last night and went for a walk round Hyde Park today. Just wrote another dooyoo review as well. I am aiming to pay off my next overdraft installment by the end of October. If I get a dooyoo cheque every two months I will only need to make 140 pounds by other means which should be easy to do! I am up to 35 on onepoll so hopefully i will reach payout one day, is so slow.

Thanks wendz to get me started i have just paid £90 off of virgin from money sitting in my savings (theres no point it sitting in there)!!! now just have to try every other means in paying it off. Im gonna kick virgin cc's a$$!

Theyre good tips yukki think i might apply those to paying off cc instead of going into savings.
Due to budget cuts the light at the end of the tunnel will be switched off.
