Well Jenjade thats some exciting news! Unfortunately i have no other cards with enough space to make it worth moving as it would only be a couple of hundred and then my other card will be maxxed out. poo, poo, poo!!! I am hopefully going to enjoy the sun and forget about my interest rates for a little while, i hate being in this situation! I know its my fault for getting into debt but at the time i could afford my braces ect ect (2years ago now practically) if i didnt leave my last job id be fine. and thats not the worst bit my braces are 0% but in a few months my treatment is going to be finished and im going to have to pay the full amount of £2380 which is why i was trying to clear my lowest interest rate card to then be able to pay the braces on that card, but now virgin have thrown a spanner in my works.......Oh what a pickle! Just have to keep
i guess....hoping for a lotto win now £3000 would be nice just to get rid of virgin lol

Stacy I hope you sort it out, what about a new cc with 0%?
I finally received my dooyoo cheque so that's a start to my month. Also got 2k on bport this morning which was a nice win and hoping for a redeem this week. Need to get back into it to start saving for xmas with vouchers etc.
Am totally skint this month as spent too much last month which is really annoying. I hate being poor there is so much I want to get done.
Having an indoor day today, waiting for the shopping to come, we have NO food and I really mean that lol. It's so depressing. OH at work and dd2 being wingy. Ho hum.0 -
Aww yukki bless your daughter. i applied for a few a few months ago and got declined so i dont want to apply for anymore as i probably wont get accepted still and i dont want to risk wrecking my credit rating. :rolleyes:Due to budget cuts the light at the end of the tunnel will be switched off.

Afternoon everyone, I hope you can sort the card situation out somehow Stacy, and that's good news about the house Jen.
I'm slightly annoyed, I've just been in town and have bought this toothbrush from Boots http://www.amazon.co.uk/Philips-Sonicare-HX6731-02-Rechargeable/dp/B0012NOEVU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=drugstore&qid=1246721377&sr=8-1 , it was £65 but I had £12 in vouchers which brought it down to £53, and I got £9 worth of boots points with some vouchers I had, so really it was about £45ish. I decided to buy a decent one as I seem to worry daily about the state of my teeth and am a bit OCD about cleaning them (and its cheaper andless scary than needing dental work), but I've just tried it out and it vibrates so much it really tickles me, and to be honest for something that has an RRP of £100 I don't think it does a particularly great job of cleaning either. I can't take it back because of what it is so I guess I'll just have to learn to get on with it *sigh*.
Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470 -

I love spurts of motivation! mine is now to throw absolutely everything at my virgin cc, pay it off asap and then chuck it in the shredder, never to be seen or used again!! do you have a target amount to aim to save?!Due to budget cuts the light at the end of the tunnel will be switched off.

I need to get up to £50 on dooyoo so going back on there for a bit not sure what else to do onepoll surveys are all for prizes and i only have £3 in there toluna i am getting close to a voucher but it takes forever on there!
Going to e bay loads and do loads of dooyoo.
I guess working the extra hours and the new job will help as i get paid more!
There is a job at my daughters school doing and before and after school club but not sure what hours it will be? That would be quite good for me as it would be term time only.
Also negotiated my hours over the summer so i work 3 days instead of 4 so less holiday club needed also my mum has said she will have dd every tuesday so i will onlt need to pay for childcare monday and friday:j Proud mum to Jade age 10 years and Baby Ellie born Christmas Day:eek: with a broke heartProven to be a little fighter and battling on with her heart condition :j
