I've been having issues with my OH lately over money too stacey. Thankfully he gave me his card as otherwise I'm not sure what would happen. Is the mortgage in both your names?

I don't think you can force someone to stop spending as they'll more than likely spend more out of frustration. Perhaps get him to write down everything he spends, maybe it'll shock him. Its not fair on you though.

Hey yukki, Guess atleast i am not the only one. he managed to put in the other £50 needed thankgod but only because the whole issue that is going on with hsbc (bank charges) are finally being sorted which was lucky. Dont know how he is going to cope now he has found a permanent job which pays monthly  he has never been good with monthly pay let alone with the state he is in now. We shall see!
Yeah the mortgage is in both our names.

Yep i know lilmiss so does he, has been doing it for months now since he was made redundant and agencies pay crap. hopefully fingers crossed he will get back on track with the new job even though its not much more pay. I have had to withdraw cash to pay my half of the mortgage a few moths back and the interest i get is extortionate! But was nothing i could do at the time. :o Cant wait to pay it all off and get a permanent job!

Hey guys, it is quiet on here lately, im sure it must be the weather!
Well i received some good news this morning.....NOT!! Recieved a letter from virgin (thought it was a statement) i went with them a year ago for the 0% balance transfer now my interest rate is 15.9% which was fine now they have just told me they are going to be upping it to 24.9%.
It happens to everyone after their 0% ends virgin are notorious for it.:mad::mad::mad::mad: Im paying £40 per month at the moment and most of that is taken in interest its going to be hell now trying to pay this £3000 off my card!!! Now i have to do the snowball yet AGAIN and its going to take even longer for my debts to be paid off.

oh no stacy that is terrible! Can you transfer it to a lower interest else where? That is so rubbish

Hi to everyone. I have been cleaning all morning an hour and a half upstairs not attacking downstairs!
I have had a letter this morning from the housing association about my right to buy. They have valued my 2 bed at £115k so now i need to find out how much it will cost to get the building work i want doing done before i can decided if it is worth buying... then i need to find out about morgages! great!

What you all doing this weekend?
