in Credit cards
I need some personal credit asap for an unforeseen situation
.
I don't want a loan, i just want a credit card which i can transfer a balance onto (preferably) and which will give me some 'leftover' credit - or just a few hundred worth of credit to tide me over a rough patch.
Which is the quickest card to apply for anyone (in terms of application processing)?. I have a Tesco one already, any ideas please?
thanks x

If you already have a tesco then try the RBS Group (Natwest/RBS etc) as they still share processing so may make it easier to get accepted....i.e. no I.D etc to send in (surely?)
Don't go for littlewoods as above post; they are notoriously slow and that seems like a sales pitch to me :T

Actually i don't know how to ask them for a credit limit increase (can't seem to do it online) - and i was a bit scared to ring and find out in case they refused me as i'm right up to my current limit. Am i being silly?."Atrocities are not less atrocities when they occur in laboratories and are called medical research"

how long you held the account for and when did you last have an increase? roughly.... in months?
It is usual for them to increase every 6 months or so, if you've had it more than 6mth then ring and ask, if they say no just say fine thanks and hang up. Its not personal..... just risk assessed (which isn't always accurate either)
