OtherI use Tesco, my b-i-l used to pick fights calling me 'stuck up' because I said our local Asda was full of people in tracksuit bottoms swearing at their kids (he must go at a different times to me or not see them;)) It is also noticeably more expensive.
I argued that Tesco is best for the family shop for us.Mysuperkmarket.com has since proved this many times.
I do go to Asda now and again, just for a change, and come away wondering why I bother - it IS more expensive, the best thing about it is the clothes section and the freshly made pizzas. The staff ARE a bit more polite these days, years ago they were awful, threw the plastic bags at you and chewed their gum while you packed:p.
So for now I'm sticking to Tesco! Clubcard points, free vouchers for money off, and the online deliveries don't send bruised fruit or close to use-by-date food (yes, I tried Asda home delivery, didn't like it)Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

I do online shop for basics with Sainsbury. I spend £100 get free delivery. Then I buy meat, fruit, and veg from butchers, and greengrocer in town. I sometimes have to go into Tesco if we run out of bread and milk, but hate the whole supermarket experience. Maybe I should have been a Victorian. They seemed to have some great shops.:rotfl:Grocery challenge june £300/ £211-50.

Lidl/AldiAilouro2 I'm with you on the Asda deliveries, we got sick of squished grapes (so to speak:) and bruised bananas. We use Tesco now the fruit and veg is fab, the drivers are lovely and clubcard points are brill.
We get our weekly shop but I also go to Farmfoods for toilet roll, kitchen towel and a few other branded but cheap bits. Also Aldi about once a month for olive oil and such like. Started getting my shampoo and stuff from Bodycare or B & M stores sooooo much cheaper than the supermarkets.:hello:

SainsburysI have often swung between tescos and sainsburys but have recently found sainsbury's to be more moneysaving as i tend to buy a lot of the basics range as i find it is a lot better quality than the tesco value items.
My trolley is full of white and orange labels these days.
