    Hi all:)
Also - does any one know the delivery time on this??

Welcome to the thread MissK, delivery should be no more than a couple of days, they do seem to be quite quick, do you have a link to the 18%? I didn't even know you could buy that strength without adding the drops, FelinePrincess, I bet you cant wait:rotfl::D

Hi husky88, 1 coat of 16% siennasol will be slightly darker than ST but of course this would vary depending on your skin tone, also remember when you put the siennasol on it has a quite a dark colour guide, the colour will be lighter after this has been washed off, when you get used to it you might like 2 layers of product this does make it a bit darker but really gives it a richness, the big benefit I think you will find is the lack of mess compared to ST and don't forget to use the gloves, mitts etc cos its a very different product to ST, if you need anymore help don't hesitate to ask:D

I am loving my Siennasol, I have never used a product that comes off on stuff as little as this one, I have a superb colour and no dryness:T

Hi Thanks for your reply! Im really looking forward to giving it a go. I have a mitt from superdrug (velvotan?), but id really like to get the one you are talking about , could you post a link to it please? Also im wondering when it comes to the face do you think just normal st tropez will be ok and siennasol neck down as i dont want my face to be too dark? thanks x

I have the one from superdrug hun, you also need surgical gloves to wear underneath the mitt and a back applicator mine is St Tropez from Boots unless you have a willing helper;)I don't fake tan my face cos of poor quality skin but if you are happy with ST stick with that, I had a disaster with 16% on my face but others on here like it so perhaps I'm not the best person to reply to that one:)

Thanks for the link MissK, I will have a good look later on, the waiting kills doesn't it when I first got mine I slapped it on over old stuff that was going patchy I was so impatient:rotfl:

So what are the reccomendations for when i recieve my 16% Siennasol?
Currently i exfoliate and apply by wearing a pair of latex gloves with a pair of socks over - a tip i discovered a while back and really works - for me any way-

How dark are we talking for the 16%
does any one have any pics?

Also - noticed people dont tan face - why? is it just down to skin type? any tips for tanning face?

Does the 16% produce over night? what is the time scale for recults?

    sorry for all the questions...x

Hi MissK, I'll try to answer some questions
Currently i exfoliate and apply by wearing a pair of latex gloves with a pair of socks over

I'm guessing that you mean socks in place of a mitt, do the socks not absorb too much of the product making it wasteful?
How dark are we talking for the 16%
the more yellow toned your skin the darker the result should be for example my daughter who is yellow toned looks very dark with 1 layer and I am very pink toned and need 2 layers to get a dark colour, trial and error is the best thing but it will certainly be darker than ST.
Also - noticed people don't tan face - why? is it just down to skin type? any tips for tanning face?
I don't tan my face cos the product tends to cling to imperfections, of which I have many also if your skin is in any way dry it can go patchy if you have good skin its probably worth a go.
Does the 16% produce over night? what is the time scale for recults?

You get an instant colour with the colour guide then the colour develops over a few hours, I believe about 5, my personal experience is that once you have washed off the colour guide the colour does seem to deepen through the next day, washing off the colour guide makes the overall colour less muddy/patchy looking if that has happened to you, I would always recommend 2 layers as you get a depth to the colour, products that contain euthelrose (sp) seem to last longer with more of a depth as well, siennasol contains this - hth:)

well ive just bought a new mitt from boots, (own brand it was half price!), a spray bottle and also the st tropez buffer mitt which i think might be useful. i should of bought it ages ago for the lotion but better late than never! so im just wondering how many 'sprays' of solution you need to put on the mitt? does this stuff blend out very easily? does anyone have a pic of the colour from it? x

Hi husky88, just a couple of sprays on to the mitt and then apply, use you judgment, thin layers are better than slapping loads on, you can apply direct to your skin but I prefer the other way, don't buff too much (or at all) until the product has started to develop (about 5 hours I think) or you will have white patches where there will be no product it should blend enough with the mitt, when you feel confident enough in your application technique you will be able to go out with the colour guide on and not worry about it, or wait, maybe thats just me:rotfl:I think it might be a case of don't worry to much, relax and enjoy it, it is only fake tan, I actually don't care if I have the odd patch etc and for some strange reason I never do:confused:my friend worries about every last bit she puts on and seems to be missing bits etc each time so have some fun;)
