Hi Toots - glad the treatment went OK.
I've just had a FB massage from my brother in London, he has been given the all clear on his first 'lump' (gullet) but has to wait while they decide what to do with his second, though it has shrunk somewhat while he's been having the chemo etc for the first one.
On a lighter note I have never had a massage let alone a FB massage - is is just as good?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Today my DS2 has been on the PC all day plaing on the games he had for his birthday yesterday,so I have just thrown him off, missed talking to you all.
Have just had a Roast Lamb dinner (cooked by OH) so was great,he can really cook when he wants or I can persuade him..:rotfl:

Hope everyone had a nice Easter,we opened our eggs the night before as we were off so early Sunday morning.
Glad it went well today , TOOTS TLC coming your way.

- 1 set of fixing instructions for a shower that was fixed months ago. 1 charger for a mobile that is no longer in existence. 1 set square. 1 old business card. 1 chewed and useless dog lead. 1 x lot of loose change recycled in £50.00's worth of notes courtesy of the corner shop
- Note I did not cheat and add on every individual coin....
- 6 pieces of wood from garden gone to best friend up the road. 1 half of a hair clip (don't know where the other half is). 1 Which magazine from January
BFUP's husband just popped down with the car for the wood. Whilst we were out the front, there were two planes v. high in a sort of formation but quite far apart climbing from a very different direction from the local airport take off. They had similiarities to a boeing 707. They left a spectacular stream behind them. Does anyone know if there's been an airshow anywhere in Dorset or Somerset today? I suspect they may have been on transit somewhere and were climbing to avoid the local airport.
Smoked salmon and celery cheese in the oven. With potato chunks on the side. Miss Marple on the TV, glass of wine in hand - it don't get much better than this... (how sad is that?)I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

I
My ironing burst has been spurred on by the fact that Kim and Aggie have been on back-to-back all dayIve been happy to stand at the ironing board watching TV!
(Mr Tag has just walked away in disgust:rolleyes:)
We love that progtamme. DD especially likes the bacteria.;):D andto Mr Tag. He wasn't complaining this afternoon when he saw that I'd got rid of the black mould on the sealant round our bedroom window via Kim and Aggie style.

Thrown/recycled - I have 103 magazines/catalogues that I was keeping as 'resources' parcelled up and ready to go. I went through them and cut out the bits I wanted - so a metre high pile has been condensed to about ten pieces of paper which I have put in my resources folder. DH insisted on keeping his (yawn) landrover magazines but pretty much everything else has gone.
Busy day otherwise, lots of planting and weeding done plus the ground floor has been S&S'd tonight as we potentially have a visitor tomorrow night and I am working till lunch time.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -

I am getting there
I also want to grow my own and have chickens like Tom & Barbara, I would love that - again not sure about time but I suppose as long as you pop out each evening to check on stuff it should be OK? (she says hopefully) I just want to wait till we move back to Stanford before I start - I want my 'permanent' home if you like - not start it here and then have to move and leave it... any ideas?
Well we've def decided on getting chickens tonight (no pun intended there:rolleyes:) whilst having tea tonight. And no it wasn't chicken it was cow and pig:D
If you don't want to leave stuff behind why don't you grow stuff in pots? The only things that are going in the ground here this year are potatoes and garlic. Everything else will be in pots or growbags.
Oh don't I sound knowledgeable? I'm not really. Just a very enthusiastic novice:D:D that really has no idea what she's doing. Just planting and hoping at the moment.:D:D0 -
Magnificent Monday - Kitchen and dining room Done!!:D:D:D

Level Three
Took me a while to get stuck in as the family got up one by one at annoying intervals, and kept interrupting me by wanting access to the fridge and toaster. I'm thinking of setting a cut off time after which the kitchen is closed!
I have also done a bit of shopping, taxied DD around a bit, three more loads of washing - I think I've washed more clothes than we actually took with us...and a very happy hour and 3/4 on the allotment, weeding the bed I want to plant potatoes in as soon as possible. If any of the first year veggie growers want any info or help, please do pm me - I've had my allotment for 18 years, grown quite a few things and made loads of mistakes! I'd be very happy to help if I can.
I was thinking of you toots and I'm glad the treatment is short, but very sorry that you have problems with the breathing. Hugs.
