Been told by DH not to do anything else tonight as I have been having braxton hicks all fluffing day  I'm only 21 weeks this better not go on the rest of the way through (although it did with DS2).

Tia, please, just for once, do as your DH is telling you.

Rosepink - I usually just freecycle things, but given the huge hole in the budget will look into e-bay. Anything is a gain at the moment.

Mudbath - its a deal. Also joined you on the no alcohol, and DH is doing no alcohol and no fags - mostly for financial reasons but health too. Day 2 for us.

SGT I love my steam press, it has only bitten me a few times, maybe twice in three years of regular use , and I had had a few glasses of wine both times. I don't multi task when I am using it though.

I really love my steam press - since I bought it OH has done all the ironing:rotfl:

    Evening all.
My there have been a lot of busy flyladies today.
That does not include me :o

Went into town mid morning.Went to theatre to get matinee ticket - computers down.
Had a wander round shops - looked at TVs - had lunch - wandered round again (bought TV) Back to theatre - computers still down so they said just to go in as there were plenty of seats.:T
Really good show - Measure for Measure. But now I feel guilty for not paying.

You know, conveyor belt quilts seem like a good idea, but they really aren't. FOr one thing, how would you get in or out of bed?

I often wish they did quilts for fat people. For quite a long time I have been thinking this. Fat people have more body to cover, so the cover needs to be bigger. I'm a size 24 and I like having the quilt tucked in around the edges. I hate having a draft up my back. But the quilts on beds are so small they don't reach! We have a double bed and a kingsize quilt which is perfect. What would we do if we got a kingsize bed?

Anyway, these are my profound thoughts for this evening. Just typing out loud really.

I wonder whu the "cupboard dry" programme on my TD is so far 18 minutes longer than my 30min cycle  I don't think I'll be using that setting again  Off to empty it (was only the new towels to soften them up as they were extrememly stiff :rotfl::o )

Toots, you are quite right. I will remind my FIL. He is supposed to be taking pictures of the stuff for me so I can upload them onto the PC and put the stuff onto ebay. I've got a feeling he doesn't want to anymore, so I might get the stuff back off him and do it myself. Question: we can't find the lead for our digital camera, could i take th pic on my mobile? Would it be good enough quality?

Don't worry, I am resting now. I got the nesting instinct early with DS2 as well, and right now all I can think about is cleaning. And cooking. And then more cleaning! Anyone want some of it?

I always use cupboard dry on my TD, comes out just a little damp, but it drys off in the cupboard, or drawers. And if I bring it out when it's still warm, I can foldk it and put it away no ironing. DH however, grabs it all and chucks it on teh bed so it needs ironing

    Durr me - ensconsced

no wonder I couldn't fine it in the dictionary - and I pride myself on both my spelling and vocabulary too...I once had a head tell me,as I was about to talk to a parent NOT to use big words...
and I wondered who HRH was LOL and it's Piggers and I had *words* with her
Have to say ma'am if you're around I do take a pride in trying to sort stuff out myself so know where you're coming from... first thing I bought when ex went was a toolbox of my very own. DD has her own too
then I bought a smaller lawnmower cos I couldn't lift the big one
(and it's broke so my dad came and mowed if you recall - I didn't ACTUALLY ask - I just told ma'n'pa my lawnmower had broken.)

I'm just gonna google that young lad off Talent ...whoo

Rose 3 mentions in one post (bows) ..I don't live in the country but I work there...the kids stand in the playground and watch 'the shoot' and accept it...so we get kids bringing in cartridge cases - but it's normal to them. As it should be.
