  • I agree with Henrik, while training i earned £10k and thought i would be minted once i hit £48k. However the more you earn the more you spend trying to lead the lifestyle you think you should have relative to your income. Its just so easy to end up earning good money and seeing over 50% taken away on a mortgage just because you think a high income should mean a big house. Then once you hit the high tax bracket it takes more and more of a payrise to make any difference as your surrendering 40% in income tax!!
