    I am 31. OH is 29 We have 4 kids.

    I earn £25.7k plus bonuses and OH £7k PT

    She is going FT after Xmas and could be earning IRO 19K

    Debt current is a smidge over £8k

    Savings at £2.4k

    Debt coming down, savings going up!!

    At the start of our journey in Dec '07 I was on £17k and she £6k. Our debt was £22k plus, we only had 3 bambinos.

    WOW what a long way we have come.
    Was in debt £23k- Not now (12/07-12/10):T
    Did smoke- Not any more (26-02-11):j

  • 26 about 6.600 devt income nil am only making token payments but as soon as i go back to worl full time i will be aiming to pay off asap as dont want it hanging over my head any longer than needed.
  • I'm 21, have $7k worth of debt and was earning $21k per year, although that looks to drop to around $17k now, and maybe further to $13k.. depending on my studies. However I'll stick with the $17k till I've dropped the debt a bit more...:eek:

    Im 24 I earn about £6000 (Only work 2 days a week) & we probably have debts of £7000

  • Not good. I'm 52. Non mortgage debt as per sig (plus an as yet uncalculated tax bill). Income hard to know really. Mid to highish 20s I reckon but that's before some largish capital allowances come off. My total debt is probably around 6-7x annual income. That doesn't give the full picture though as a fair bit of it was borrowings to purchase tools/equipment that are being used to greatly increase my income.
    I'm currently surviving on low interest rates and being a major tightarse. I have the capacity to increase income 50% over next two years if my body can cope.

    I'm 23, got into debt the day I turned 18 (took out a rather large loan and blew it all, but had an awesome time in the process :) )
    Debt was £10000, now stands at £0 just finished paying it all off in August

    Income around £16000 (student bursary + wages)

    Salary: €27,600 + €2,208 annual 'holiday' payment. Total: €29,808 (I do also benefit from paid commuter costs, mobile phone (max €69 pm) and internet (max €30 pm) which all help greatly)
    Debt: circa 14,500 GBP - coming down nicely now :)

  • I'm 19, my income is £5k plus occasional bonus, and my debt is roundabout £3k.
    Hopefully on track, waiting on a grant from college which may help me pay off a chunk :)
