I am on bell insurance for 2 years (part of admiral insurance) and on Flexibell policy which runs for 10 months but after 10 months I earn one year no claims.

I am the main driver and my mum is the additional driver.

with the removal of "unnecessary" extras I would bring my renewal cost around £430

Where is the fun in that lol.

Who would you guys choose out of Direct Line or Quinn Direct?

Cheers for all the help guys, looks like I might have found a car so back to my original mission of finding the cheapest insurance.

    Direct line
  • If there is say a £100 difference, is it worth going with quinn, don't they have a bit of a bad rep?

Picking up my car tomorrow so going to have to sort the insurance out in the morning eek.

I personally would avoid Quinn even for a £100 saving.

Well in the end I got my little peugeot 106, and went with quinn at £1800 a year, going down to £1650ish when I get my pass plus done. Crazy money, which will well and truly skint me, but it can't be helped that I live in a crappy area and can't get NFU insurance.

Is there something particularly wrong with quinn? I only just saw your comment right now, but apparently it was posted before I asked the question . I'm still in the first 14 days if they are really bad :/.

In my opinion the cover is not great and their claims are not great.

Do you have a provisional or full licence?
