I have no problem saying it.
There is no danger based on what the OP has posted that the police would have shown this much interest or time into investigating her. Either they have evidence she is guilty of exactly what she is accused of or there is more to the story that she isnt telling us.0 -

Whatever the outcome if she is found to have no case to answer, she MUST ensure that she keeps any correspondence showing innocence as all care workers paid and voluntary WILL have to register with the new ISA vetting and barring scheme, and the fact that she was under police investigation will be taken in to account by them when they make a decision as to whether she can work with vulnerable adults.
As to Anihilator's assumption of guilt, we should wait for any outcome from a police investigation, and remember that there must be belief beyond all reasonable doubt, for the ISA unfortunately, the lower civil burden of proof applies, ie "the balance of probability"0 -

I've read your thread and been horrified so I am so glad you have a new job and things seem to be working out.
All the best.0 -

Remember that the police and CPS are probably no longer interested in truth and justice - they have conviction targets to meet. Put those 2 factors together and you have a potent mix for damaging innocent people.
Like little old ladies with zimmer frames coerced into accepting a caution for assault, for jabbing, a poor defenceless young fit strong hoodie in the chest, who was terrorising the pensioners. A caution is an admission of guilt, so voila, a box ticked for a "crime" solved. The OP posted here for advice, not an interrogation or assumption of guilt, so no one should be judgmental in their posts. It is easy for anyone to inadvertently fall foul of "Man Of Straw's" Alice in Wonderland justice system. Flash, Flash, Flash, Flash, from the speed cam = bus, bike, or shank's pony to work.0 -
Thanks to everyone for their comments, It really is appreciated.
Ive been totally honest on this thread, I stand to gain nothing if I come on and lie or give you false information. Even the PC dealing with the matter was surprised at how long the situations taking, however he did state there were a lot of discrepancies so the CPS have asked him a few times to get more statements.
Hopefully, 24th November will be the date I finally find out. Pretty positive I will as the PC has got a face to face meeting with the CPS.
For those who seem to imply guilt based on the length of time the situation has been going on, you may find this article interesting. http://archive.thisiswiltshire.co.uk/2006/6/19/269317.html
patman99 - Yes, I have been upfront and honest with my current employer and at the interview I attended.0 -
Just a thought, wonder if you could have the complainant charged with wasting Police time, or attempting to pervert the course of justice?.
Perhaps they could be sued for defamation of character. After all, she has basically destroyed an innoccent persons carrer, and cost them their job.Never Knowingly Understood.

Everything has been dropped!
Due to lack of evidence! 8 months ive been waiting for this! Nice bottle of wine tonight!
Looks like I will be able to enjoy my birthday on Thursday and Christmas after all without this hanging over me!0 -
Congratulations SE, go and have a bottle, you deserve it after all of this. And in time for your birthday too. You are well out of that job with your crappy ex-boss. Hope that everything goes well for your new job. I bet you must have cried with relief.0

I must admit I did burst into tears as soon as I walked out of the police station. All ive got to do now is deal with the tribunal claim and look at getting my fingerprints and DNA removed from the police database.0
