    I'll second that

Driving to work in the dark and home again in the dark makes you feel like you have no day

    Starting to miss daylight

Well that's it. I'm going to dig in to a bowl of Crunchy Nut cornflakes for lunch.. after all I had a bowl of broth for breaskfast because I got the bus to the doctors, a 2 mile journey cost £1.80! Thought no way i'm paying on the journey back that so walked all the way uphill, under buzzing pylons in the pouring rain, getting splashed by passing cars. Broth was heavenly when I got in at 10 this morning!

How's your days been? I'm ok today, another rough night but i'll not bore you with all that again.

Depressing weather where I am and have walked 7 miles in total today. Going to treat myself to a hot chocolate tonight, chill out in the bath and watch some box if I can grab the control first! Would like to be making my curtains but the cheap fabric was out of stock so would have cost me £40 - no way!

I need new curtains but don't know how to sew so am looking to buy some nice (but cheap!!) ready made ones.

I made shepherd's pie for dinner and made enough 'stuff' to also make steak pie! Also made a sticky golden syrup sponge for dessert. No more cooking until Thursday! Yippee!!

    :j :j

Wow Miche well done on 7 miles!! I really wanted a walk on the moors today but weather was far too bad up here.

Hi 5YP.....if you are near an Ikea then take in 5 old books & get your free £5 gift voucher/card . I got mine today...all Ikea stores are running the offer apparently in conjuction with Save the Children.

I went to Nottingham store today with 5 books & bought a shiny new shower curtain :j:j:j. Hmmm impulse buy but I needed cheering up !! I know this link is Croydon but the assistant told me today it was a nationwide offer until Oct 11th 09.
