Ahh so you were the one in black lycra who decided to stop in front of me and start stretching all over the place on a tree trunk....some of it looked barely legal

Hi Phil, I'm recovering thanks - got problems with my right shoulder and arm following the car crash and its meant working on the laptop is not the easiest. Oh and my eldest has been away leaving just me and my darling daughter being girlies together! :rotfl:BR 08/06/09 ED 10/03/10BSC member 2500

Well glad to hear your ok (ish) been wondering how you were getting on after the accident...started to worry for a while! We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0

Awwwww, thanks Phil.
Been a lot of sorting out to be done as well as recovering. Bought a very cheap car which is doing ok (now the guy rebuilt the engine for me for free) and was intending to trade it in against a more expensive one when my cheque came through but think I've changed my mind and will just spend a little getting it fixed up cos think I've stumbled on a good un! My house is now looking different as well as the council have been 'working' on it!My cheque for the car arrived this morning (minus the excess) so I'll need to let the OR know on Monday but assume as it was for the car and the car's been made exempt I can just bank it and use it? Borrowed money out of my daughter's savings to get the cheap car and need to replace that if nothing else!
Other than that, life's fine - daughter started nursery on Monday and loved it, even wanted to go today. Son's back from his holiday with his dad and straight on his Xbox so can tell what he missed most.
How are you, the missus and the bump?

My cheque for the car arrived this morning (minus the excess) so I'll need to let the OR know on Monday but assume as it was for the car and the car's been made exempt I can just bank it and use it? well seeing as the car was exempt in the 1st place I cant see them saying anything about a replacement Borrowed money out of my daughter's savings to get the cheap car and need to replace that if nothing else!

Son's back from his holiday with his dad and straight on his Xbox so can tell what he missed most. ahh boys...we're all like that! 1st thing I did when we came back from london last weekend was check my emails and then fire up the xbox 360,,,,,sad I know even at 39!:p
How are you, the missus and the bump? we're both good....had the dreaded pig flu a few weeks ago...then left me with a nasty infection in my knee..bump hopefully is fine we saw the consultant last week & he's arranging a growth scan in a couple of weeks just to be safe...its a loooong story but we're being seen by the genetics team as well..something i'd been born with "might" be passed on,,
xx
Good to see you back though.....you've been missed! We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -
Well at least if you've seen the genetics team you will know what's in store potentially - even if it would never change your mind about anything! Hope the growth thing is ok and everything is proceeding as it should. Has the sickness passed yet? I'm sure I remember Nicki being sick but couple of other 'internet' friends are also sporting bumps!
I'll be flitting in and out though, but I'll try to pop in to at least say hello more often. Physio today has left me tired and as I use the arm to type it aches a bit more so short bursts rather than a sustained one I think. Right off for a cuppa, catch you later

mm well you'd think so....the genetics team despite me having various prods & scans & tests still cant really say if anything can possibly be passed on......wouldnt make a blind bit of difference though if the bumps born with anything wrong...still be wanted & loved and given the best chance in life
Hmm the sickness passed a little while ago....she's a ton better now even said today she's feeling a little more like herself again (apart from the growing bump!)
Main thing YOU TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF! this place will still be here when your feeling better...can understand physio had the same myself a while ago & always left me knackered
Enjoy the cuppa....
