This is as good a place as any to post it lensmen,, my OH lost her Mum to cancer many years ago, , not quite the same, but close enough.

all i can say is what i say to my OH, she is not gone, she lives on in everyone who remembers her for whatever reason;)

My thoughts are with you Jim. The best tribute is to remember & smile at the wonderful life she enjoyed and the enrichment that she brought to those whose lives she touched.

Ok, i think this is a fitting time, seen as this is an inn, to raise a glass,

To those that have gone before us, but will never be forgotten, let them live on in the memories of those they have left behind. in doing so they will have eternal life

No problems Jim, I often have a little think about my grandad at times like these and he died over 15 years ago - he is still greatly missed.
