Sorry for being a miserable cow. I have asked if details of this place and CCCS details can be added to the order of service for people and its going to be. More of an effort to get the message out I think.0 -

Good afternoon. Again.
As to feeling miserable. And what happened. Those sorts working for a DCA don't care. The capacity for compassion was consumed by a need to intimidate people (if they ever possessed any). They sold themselves quite a while ago. There probably are decent ones but their humanity becomes subsumed in the general 'culture' of their working environment. Over time they forget how they may have been before they took the job; though the cynical part of me would be saying right now 'it takes certain types to do these jobs'. And it does. Most get picked on that 'strength'. But bullying people isn't a strength it is an action undertaking by very insecure, very weakminded individual(s). Pitbulls who are bred for one purpose only. Just an analogy there. Because I think it is long overdue that these people were prosecuted for what they do to people.
Because one day it all comes back to haunt them in the end. No escaping that, is there? If that sounded harsh, nope. Because these inhuman people have to be curbed and by regulations.
Blame those responsible is what I am saying.
'If you look into the abyss does it stare back at you'.Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Respect them as you would expect the same in return. Offered freely, is gleaned from a lifetime of experiences, knowledge gaining. Passed on to benefit others. I may be direct, ask you questions but those are to help you. Up to you if you choose to take it. I won't judge you either way.

But an old friend of ours committed suicide over debt this week. And am so cross. I;m angry with him cos i feel so carp that it was a waste and stuff and he didn;t get any help.
Hi skylight - please forgive me as I have only just read your post - it is always sad to lose a friend and even more so when that loss was pointless and could, so easily, have been avoided.
Don't be angry with him, though - many of us have experienced the side effects of debt - the whole world appears to 'close in' and many people don't even realise that 'debt' is only money, or that there is help available.
Feel sorry, instead, for those loved ones he has left behind, including yourself, and hope that his death will, if nothing else, serve to highlight the sheer futility of debt and all of its repurcussions.
Please accept my sympathy on the loss of your friend, and pass my condolences to his family.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
